Seems like the Recurve would need enough of a redesign to make it a whole new atty in order to fit two coils in there with enough airflow to feed them properly.

Maybe this? Could have step down airflow like the Recoil S to allow higher squonking level.

I just hope it doesn't have the ugly shape and paint finish so I can buy one.

Good morning/afternoon/evening folks, depending on your time zone. Hope everyone's well.

So here's the bits which arrived yesterday from fasttech. Wire, flat drip tips, a Soyuz rocket masquerading as an RTA, some Orchid V4 replacement windows (ideal for old KF Lite and the Soyuz) and a clone GT III deck which I only ordered in case I couldn't get the authentic piece.

There are some similarities, but I think the differences outweigh them. Still looks like a decent RDA, though. I tried to like the original but it was just too restrictive and the juice well was non-existent. This one looks more my style.

With the airflow holes like that it doesn't seem like i'll be able to squonk up and over the coils like I can with my other dualies.

This seems to be more in line with something like the Terk or Goon 1.5 I guess? You would have a more informed opinion. Anyways, i'm over that style of dripper. I prefer something like the Kali and to a lesser extend the Goon 25.

It will most likely function like the original for squonk action. The inner holes in the deck line up with the outer holes in the barrel creating a longer path the juice would need to travel in order to leak. It also takes advantage of the cohesive and adhesive properties of the liquid and its viscosity. The amount of pressure needed to make it leak would have to be great, so you would need to intentionally oversquonk it to force juice out of the holes. A short squonk to cover the coils would probably be fine.

The longer path in the airholes doesn't mean anything unless they're angled up (if we exclude surface tension, which may be the case because the holes look big). They would still leak out because the juice level reaches the top of the coil.

I guess we'll see. Glad they changed the aesthetic. I hope they have it in matte black and other colours.

Phew..took me along time to catch up.
My BB is leaking, my Artery Pal is not what I was hoping for and the only thing I have coming is juice.
I have been busy doing this. Four days a week, not on Friday because I volunteer at the shelter. Trailer park is almost done and I think we have trapped and transported 22. He says we have 3-4 to go and I am beginning to think he is scouring the neighborhood for cats. The only part I am really hating is sometimes they stay in the trap overnight and pee on the newspaper in the trap and then it goes in my car for a 26 miles trip to drop off. The clinic is giving me a good deal so I do not complain that the cat comes back with the same stinky newspaper in the trap for the 26 mile trip home and probably pees again on the ride home. I line my car pretty good, newspaper, old shower curtains, more newspaper, plastic drop cloths, more newspapers, I know my car is safe but THAT smell..I don't know if anyone of you know the smell of an unaltered male tom cats pee...OMG. Yeah, I think it's a safe assumption that the dual will be more likely to leak. The thickness of the original alone is probably the greatest contributor to preventing it.

the most technical thing happening this long weekend is making buttonless cells buttony cells using solder.
fear not... i won't document the scintillating process.

Honestly, I haven't been blown away by dual coils for squonking anyway. The closest the I really like is a cheap Reload X clone that vapes great. I like the air coming from under the coil, and this does it well without the leaky issue with other bottom air rdas. I'm also not into clouds, so that has to be taken into account. There is no doubt that all my dual coil attys produce tons of fog.

Rumor has it, they're incorporating the swingline into the T-101 chassis this year.

Yesterday when taking inventory of my gear, I saw that I have 2 Oumier Wasp Nano's, and a Hellvape Drop Dead RDA. I also realized all my RDA's and tanks are too big for the Pico's I have. Maybe time to PIF the Pico's.

Yep I now the smell...you'll never get it out once its got in the fabric...yuk....once it happens once the next cat wants to pee just because they can smell it...vicious circle...

Amazing job your doing there...
