Yesterday when taking inventory of my gear, I saw that I have 2 Oumier Wasp Nano's, and a Hellvape Drop Dead rda. I also realized all my rda's and tanks are too big for the Pico's I have. Maybe time to PIF the Pico's.

Is Drop Dead a single or dual? I have the dead rabbit (using a single coil) on my Topside, and that’s a nice pair, but you can get a dual Topside also.

The nano isn’t bad with the Luna, but it’s not really my favorite rda. I haven’t played with them much yet though. I wasn’t hugely impressed with the DR until this last time I built it. Getting very nice flavor with it now. I think I tend to set my coils too high and use too much cotton.

The drop dead is a dual coil. I really like the DR despite what alot of people think. With a proper build, it puts out a great amount of flavor. I would have posted a pic of my DR build, but I'm chasing a mystery leak still.

Another day of rain and crappy weather. Another day in bed unable to move much.

I have a list of mixes I want to get started and a boxful of RDAs that need to be played with.

Good thing I had recoiled/ changed out wicks on all my atties last week and charged all my batteries.

The one thing I’m still able to do is lift my mod to my mouth.

I haven’t even bought anything in 2 weeks. One more side or top flow atty isn’t very exciting. Have all the major improvements to atties at least to RDAs been done and done again? I’m in need of something innovative to get me excited.

Um... point of ignorance: im not 100% sure what exactly a PWM mod even is exactly. Might Y’all be possibly be willing to drop a link on me by any chance?

PWM = Pulse Width Modulation.

It is the process of rapidly switching between 0v and battery voltage, similar to a square wave. The time between switching creates an average output voltage. This is often referred to as the duty cycle. So the higher the duty cycle, the higher the average voltage

Below is a screen grab from one of DJLsb measurements (I think a Yihi mod). Through out the duration of the device firing, you can see the time between being on (full voltage) and off (no voltage) increases, thus lowering the average output voltage.

pulse width modulation. fires the power on and off rapidly, therefore uses less of it and the pot allows the frequency to be adjusted which varies the effective 'wattage'. others who haven't consumed a reasonable amount of vino will chime in with a more technical, and no doubt more accurate, exploration I'm sure.

Maybe keep one and get a 22mm rda, good backup or travel kit.

Just to elaborate – the above plot from DJLsb is for Temperature Control where the TC circuit is controlling the duty cycle, thus controlling the average output voltage. Other means of controlling the Duty Cycle is through a Potentiometer but not exclusive to.

Sorry I've been MIA.. just getting older.. lol..

Anyway, I caught @Hightech Redneck 's post about the Expo.. keep us posted if your keeping an eye on it.. I'm not really but Id like an update periodically.

I think I'm done buying gear for the year and trying to finish stocking up on nicotine. Debating whether to get it in gallons and break it up after purchase..

Have the terrapins hatched yet @Skeebo ?

Needs a polish but looks good. The atty sits perfectly straight on the mod. Eventually I want a 21700 mechanical, but it can stay on this mod till then.

Hey all, I just got a notification for a pretty sweet deal. AR is running a 50% discount site wide until 5/5 at 11:59PM CDT. That's everything on the site including all hardware and liquid. If anyone is interested in the Unicorn mods/RDAs or the Axial RDA, these guys are the distro for them.

AR eLiquid Co | The Best Cheap Vape Juice

Use code GRABIT. I'm gonna clean them out :D
