That is sweet looking.
Comically so.Those aliens look tiny next to those clamps
They're fine on a 30T. They were pre-built, so no extra wire for another wrap. I typically run .10-.13 on my 30Ts though, so it's perfectly fine. But those screws sure are pretty. Me, I'd put another wrap on those coils but whatever works. I guess. 0.11 ohm is kinda low for a single tube mech.
am I the only one that uses fingernail polish to hide scratches and dings in your shinies?
I think I will save the fancy thumb screws for pics, and not actual vaping. They look cool, and would be a shame to mess them up.I think I paid like $25 for mine, don't remember exactly, was a good price at the time. I would suggest to use the lowest mass coils you have with it. It's a 2 post atty, not my favorite type. Lots of AF though. Sadly I couldn't get the cool thumbscrews to get tight enough to work. For $17.95 it's good. For $40. I'd buy an Apocalypse or Asmodus Vault.
I agree. I love my four regulated squonks. You do not want to get a regulated squonker if you are happy with your mech/semimech ones now. The regulated will spoil you hard with the ability to put any build you want into an RSA and enjoy it. No more futzing around with coil resistance, 35A cells and the other PiTA aspects that come with unreglated devices.
You have been warned!![]()

If you decide to get one, get a dual cell as they are much more versatile than a single.
I will be. For thst price I will jump on it. I eas expecting much higher.Every now and then he releases a bunch of single cell walnut mech mods that work beautifully and are around $90. Worth keeping an eye on his shop.

I wonder if they will come out with a Trinity Glass cap for it. That would be sweeet! My Occula RDA showed up today. I popped in a pair of Ni80 aliens that came out around .11 ohms.

Those clamps are massive.

It's a decent RDA. It has huge airflow to the point where I'm closing it down by 1.5 holes to get the flavor right. I do wish it was 25mm to take better advantage of what those clamps could hold. Also the cap feels a little thin and it gets pretty hot. It's OK overall but it's not going to be a favorite. The juice is pretty much Girl Scouts Thin Mint cookies, so that's a win. It's a little heavy on the mint but a steep might mellow it out. We'll see.
They are very Photogenic.I think I will save the fancy thumb screws for pics, and not actual vaping. They look cool, and would be a shame to mess them up.
Yeah, that would be cool. It's definitely a show deck.I wonder if they will come out with a Trinity Glass cap for it. That would be sweeet!
no way they are badges of honor.I don’t have any scratches or dings in my shinies but if I ever do that’s a great idea.
He used to make either single or dual cell walnut box mods with pents. Then he started adding the choice of DNA or yihi boards for around £200 and the mech squonkers. The amount of hour's that go into each one puts him at minimum wage. Same issue as US mod makers really. He can't comp with China but what you get for the extra cash is the ongoing services that you don't get elsewhere.Well that's good to know.. with no prices listed I got the impression if you have to ask price you can't afford the mod.. lol.
Good to know he might have a reasonably priced item every now and again for the plebians..
I am wondering as well. I was asleep and missed all the action.So... who was Mr. Pink?
My mods have a lot of umm, characterno way they are badges of honor.
That's a really good price for what you get. I would go with a mechanical on that one. I want a squonk with a board, but for me a handmade wooden mod has to be mechanical. He used to make either single or dual cell walnut box mods with pents. It's definitely one of those mods you get when you get an unexpected windfall, but it's nice to know these craftsmen still exist.
On the subject of proper equipment but otherwise totally non topical I managed to bring my dad’s old portable drill press back from the grave. The thing is older than me. It’s meant to be powered by a hand drill though and I managed to not only repair my spare broken dremel (new switch. $15 on eBay) but I managed to install the thing using of all things a bathroom escutcheon from the hardware store. It works! MUHAHAHhahaha! It's an idea @bombastinator. At least if you put something together and sensibly, it can always be repaired or upgraded.
First thing to look at is lipo or li ion, and then chipset and work around the components. Maybe even get a few small pieces fabricated by local Engineering and or sheet metal companies.
Seriously considering this myself, but it's just some thing need the proper equipment to be done. Can only do so much with an electric hand drill, a hacksaw, a file and sandpaper.
