@Fidola13, I just read that the Provari won't accommodate anything lower than 1.2 ohms, so you will need to adjust accordingly.

Nice, also bonus points for the fallout wallpaper.![]()
Got my new Purge Ultem and stabwood squonk. Good excuse to rock that new Ultem cap on my black Axial.
I know! I hope she doesn't regret the purchase. And, yeah, I bought kanthal along with stainless steel precisely so I could wrap higher-ohm coils.Wow, even my in my mtl RTAs I'd struggle to build a 1.2 ohm coilI just checked: ss316l 28 gauge, 2.5mm id, 13 wraps !!! would come out at 1.23 ohms - be easier with kanthal tho, that's only 7 wraps
I can just picture @Fidola13 's face reading your post![]()

!!
!! Who vapes over 1.2 ohms!!!!? Grrrrrrrrrr. Plus I ordered batteries lol!
!!Desperate times may call for desperate measures. I'd hold on to it if I were you.I wish I’d taken a pic of my face when I just read that!!
Welp, I’ll either keep it anyways for my vapopalyse stash or turn around and sell it. SMDH!!
Here's an old video explaining them. Phil Busardo looks so young in it!
You can download a pdf of the manual here.
It takes a button-top battery. @DPLongo22 recommended these to me, but I'm not sure they'd be right for you, 'cause you vape at higher watts/lower ohms than I (I think).

Question about the Coily: So, the beauty of this tool is that it lets you cut your legs the perfect length, right? (I guess the main advantage of this is that you don't have to struggle to snip off excess wire and there's no risk of unnoticed bits causing a short?) But what about this business of leaving one leg longer than the other for easier installation? And if you have to wrap the legs around a screw, don't you need some length to work with?
I like the version that comes with Mike's new recurve dual. Go to 10 min in and you will see it. It's more compact and the coily site length still applies.Desperate times may call for desperate measures. I'd hold on to it if I were you.

I wanted that one. Didn't need it and couldn't afford it but I'm still mad at you for buying it.
Not really![]()

You don't need the coil tool for that type of deckDesperate times may call for desperate measures. I'd hold on to it if I were you.

Come the vapocalypse, when possession of a Provari will be required to gain entry into the secret clubhouses, you'll be glad to have it.It said it was purple but looked almost black to me. I have so much I’d like to say right now but I don’t want to get suspended!!!!!!!
I guess I'll just sock it away in the vape drawer till I get that kind of RBA, then. At least it won't take up much space. It's getting cramped in there. You don't need the coil tool for that type of deck
Cutting to correct length will make it much harder to do. Fidola is dead on, just particularly useful for postless or very tight decks.

Yeah @Letitia 's right. Forgot what RTAs you were talking about.
For the doggy, I cut a bit of wire about 8 inches, wrap the coil in the middle, and slap the coil in with legs still really long - about 2 inches each. It helps having the long legs as you can wrap them around the opposite screw to give you support, when tightening up the post screw.
Once installed, chop the legs off as close as you can to the screw, and your done![]()
Ok so I’ve been playing w Steam Engine - if I use kanthal (I must have some somewhere in my stash oh wait the coil master kit came with some.
Anyhow- 26g kanthal with 3mm id single coil with 8 wraps should get me to 1.2 ohms.
God only knows what kind of vape that be though lol!!
Does anyone around here vape at around those ohms? If so is the vape cool or warm? Thanks.
I love buying “expensive” things with no idea what they do to how they do it lol! Oh well.
