amazing what all can be used for atty stands...I have used drip tips, the hole in a spool of wire, other things that do not come to mind but I find some reckless things the day after that were supposed to be for 'just put this here for a sec"
Just been catching up and noticed those posts about the red X. So that doesn't just mean disagree then??
Nothing wrong with disagreeing in my book...sometimes it's necessary....is there some sort of further punishment or something-----get 10 X's and pay a fine or get an electric shock or something

When the website was initially implementing the new "like" system we were also deciding on which "likes" we wanted.
The vote on the disagree was because on this forum, unlike others, people can give dangerous advice - especially in the mech forum. The hope with the disagree was for it to serve as a warning against any potentially dangerous advice.
Some people - like myself - voted against it, because of its ability to be abused and therefore rendered irrelevant and ineffective in its stated intent.
When there are lots of disagrees throughout the forum on what mod to buy, or what style of vaping is best, the 5 disagrees on a post in the mechanical mod forum might become overlooked and seen as petty disagreement and not a warning against potentially dangerous advice.
Overall, people here are fairly good not to make the red x into something petty.. but some people do take disagrees more seriously than others, because of this...
It's just a matter of not obfuscating why we got them in the first place.
Everyone makes mistakes though, it's position in the likes bar is ridiculously easy to click accidentally.

My wife too. She refuses to make socks for anyone other than me and her. People tell her all the time she should sell them. But the yarn is expensive and it takes so long to knit she would be lucky to get 20c an hour for the work.

Everyone is wrong, the red X's are meant to be used to hold your place in a thread. If you can't finish reading the whole thing you simply place a red X on the last post you read. That way you can find where you stopped reading previously.

I ordered a couple of STM's on Ebay for backups. Got them yesterday and they had sent me Top Tank Minis instead. The Ad showed both, you had to select which one you wanted. I chose 2 black STM's and they sent me 2 TTM's, one black and one silver. The invoice doesn't show what you selected so there was no way I could have known.
I was half thinking of keeping them anyway. Opened one to take a look and the RDA head was defective. The screw that holds the top on wouldn't go in far enough to hold. Packed them up and sent them back. That's one good thing about Ebay, no question returns. It's the first vape purchase I ever had to return.
They included a couple of sample bottles of juice from an outfit called 123Vapor. One of them I really liked, Tobacco Western Banana. I looked them up thinking I might buy some and it wasn't very reassuring. The home page read like it had been translated from Chinese with cheap software, claimed they were a leading vape outfit who had been around "since the beginning really" and had Master Agreements with all the leading manufacturers. The site had only been around since February. Before that it was called VapeOns since 2017. Neither name had any history I could find. They had some hardware as well, some of it at killer low prices. They must have someone behind them because they showed an extensive range of juice, with fancy graphics. Anyone heard of them?

Well the lawn is done and I've been chilling in the garden vaping some Magical Red Crack in the Tilemahos.
Toying with the idea of getting a Squid Industries Double Barrel V3 from Fasttech. I'm just wondering guys, how well does the paint job hold up on it? I can't stand paint peeling or chipping on mods.
Also does anyone have this clone of the Hussar?

The squid industries has a big poblem with their paint finish. I haven't got one but I keep hearing about paint problems....both peeling and loss of glaze. One of the YT reviewers put his away with eliquid on his fingers and where the prints were it took the shine of the paint...he ended up using liquid plastic to recoat it.
