My hotcig centaur mini rta dumped a tank of juice yesterday - first time I've ever had a leak in any RTA. I'm no longer a leak-free virgin

I've fixed it, as in it's no longer dumping - but I've got no idea which 'fix' actually fixed it  It's normally a vacuum problem/wicking problem right?

I recoiled and rewicked - still dumped
Changed the base to glass o-ring - still dumped
Changed every frickin o-ring on the RTA, switched to bubble glass with the chimney extension and sat it upside down for an hour  - been perfect ever since ;)

Mixed one shots, did yoga. Flyers are ready but I want to figure out the city's ordinance for posting them and I am now too tired. Also will call animal control and the shelter (if anyone picks up, IDK.)

The husband is currently so insane I let him come talk to me during yoga because he likes to talk about politics and that makes me stabby and terrified, but yoga combats it. LOL.

The husband thinks the little dog "left because I did not nurture him enough" and alternately "I knew he would leave if I brought him to the city." Uh huh. I pointed out the many times the dog had run off at our house, and that the GATE was opened.

He really is nuts. I'm not giving up on that little mongrel. We adopted him, completely savage, and he was caught at 2 years OLD in the dang DESERT. He can take care of himself. in fact, they almost didn't let me adopt him because they said he was a "bad biter." The dog did try to bite my kid on the way out but my kid grabbed his jaw and closed it and said, "No Willie, no biting." He never bit anything after that. Well other than baby quail which I guess are the delicacy of the desert or something because he gulped those like they were truffles.

I have a few more steps to take and I plan to. Not so much because I NEED the dang dog, I mean he's pleasant and all, but mainly so I can tell my kid all the things I have tried. I mean I HOPE IT WORKS do not get me wrong, but I am not all fatalistic and depressed like the dude I am married to and I really think the only thing he did DUMB was LEAVE the gate open.

So yeah anyway, I got a lot done today my "room" (the one I currently have all to myself well you can WALK in it and whatnot, it's rather pleasant.

We will see how it goes.

I even did the dishes the husband was so pathetic. I was like, well, I'm washing these bottles I can wash the dishes.

    Anna

Good luck. And as I said previously the most accurate way to find a lost dog is flyers at stop signs, cross walk, lights etc. and then again at grocery stores etc etc.
I really hope you find him safely or that he comes rambling down the road coming home.

Whatever you’re on, I want some! Although lately I’ve been up up and away all on my own  !!
I'm not on anything. Actually, I'm on Earth.

I like that atty stand. I'd skip the one with combinations, I can never remember the numbers.

Did you ever get your Bull City order done?

This is the kind of story that makes me quail. I hope everything plays nicely with me for a good long while. If something like that happens to me early on, I'll panic.

I've been building RTAs for a year now and never had this happen to me - so it's extremely rare. Some RTAs are prone to leaking if you don't wick them 'just right' but none of the RTAs you ordered are in that category.

And don't forget - when I started building I was a completely crappy wicker, and they STILL didn't leak ;)

I'm pretty sure mine was just a worn out o-ring

I actually won the Creek in a Christmas giveaway on a MTL FB group sponsored by Atmizoo. Best win ever! I’ve seen the preproduction pics of the Tripod, but they haven’t released info to the public yet. It should have a similar af/vape to the Keras. I’ll post as soon as they give the okay. The Creek blows the rest of my tanks out of the water. If you get one, and need the mtl inserts let me know. I have the mtl kit, but don’t use it. Without it’s a comfortable loose mtl/rdl.
    Thanks, I appreciate it.
I did order one direct from Atmizoo. Your raving on the flavor sold me. Their gear has rock solid reviews. I'll try it out and let you know on the MTL kit. Thanks.

@ChelsB you can put those straight to the freezer. No worries.
Unfortunately I’m going to have to go through all my frozen nic to smell it to see if it oxidized while waiting for the freezer (bottles I bought when I first joined and foolishly didn’t freeze all
of it and just kept it in a dark space). But freezer space is at a premium in my house, I don’t want bad nic taking up space! I really need a third freezer :D

Wow! That looks huge in there. TBH, I use those little 22 mm attys on mech squonks with simple round 26G about 0 5 ohm. I do have a simple Clapton in the KRMA, but these little guys do great with simple builds. There's very little space in there for heat dissipation so you'll also get a super hot cap with metal caps.
Actually it's not too bad from the heat point of view. I'm vaping in TC at 35 watts and 228 C.

I have to agree though that the build is much too rowdy. I wanted to experiment with a 4mm I'd coil because there is plenty of room in there in my opinion but the wire gauge is not fine enough. It was quite difficult to get the wire through the deck

Anyway bottom line here is I'm going to change it.

I’m enjoying a peaceful afternoon watching the Red Sox and vaping on my gorgeous stealth Provari P3 and Aspire Nautilus 2.

MTLing was a breeze. I thought for sure I wouldn’t remember how but with 1.8 coils and a narrow drip tip it all came back!

I bought a Berserker and a Siren. I also have an Ammit that I purchased probably 6 months ago when I wanted to diversify my vaping habits! i.e. I wanted more toys to play with. no comments please ;) !!!!!!

Whatever state of oxidisation it was in when you froze it will be the exact same when you defrost it...if that makes sense :)
