Thanks! I’m not vegetarian but I do meatless meals as often as I can. My daughter gave me a Thug Kitchen cookbook for Christmas, and there’s some interesting stuff in it. Hard for me to source some of those ingredients though.
I am TRYING to do plant based proteins too. I can probably be alright with the beef gone but I do love my birds, chicken and turkey.

FT order placed. Got a 22mm Dvarw mtl to use with Provari Mini & a Ehpro Pro mod 101 mod. Always wanted one but was waiting for it to come to USA stores, never did.
For future reference, eciggity has them for $26.99. Right now they have 20 percent off for Memorial Day, bringing the price down to about $21.50. I've bought several from them in the past year. Very fast service.

I’ve look at Eccigity but that’s the Mod 101. I want the 101 Pro so I can use 20/21700 batteries. But thank you.

I honestly forgot there was a 101 Pro. Now I remember hearing about it when it first came along.

My daughter is vegan, and her cooking is spectacular. I wish she lived closer, I’d drop in for dinner all the time! I like my real meat too, it’s just beans and stuff keep forever without freezing, plus they’re cheap, and as I get older my body cannot cope with enough meat to meet my protein needs. I started supplementing with plant based protein shakes and that helps a lot too.

I recently started eating meatless burgers. I find the Quorn brand the best tasting so far. I also started working out and weight lifting again, so no need for a greasy burger. I like my proteins from fish mostly, also the protein shakes like you said. Can't forget about the pasta too.

My daughter was a vegetarian for several years. Thankfully the phase of her life passed and I no longer have to be sure a restaurant had a menu to satisfy her needs. As a steak person, it was a tough couple of years.

I did draw the line at Thanksgiving. There were no tofu turkeys allowed in my place.

Never seen Quorn brand. All we have is Boca and Morning Star. I don’t care for either. What pasta are you referring to?

My daughter has been vegan since age 11 and learned to cook for herself, she’ll be 30 this year. She always manages to find things on a menu to eat.

Honestly it was tougher to deal with my husband being a steak guy. He always wanted to go to places where that was the whole menu, steak, with some sad little side. And I hate restaurant steak. Never cooked right. I’d rather make it myself. It’s better, cheaper, and I know where the steak came from.

Haha. So many similarities. My daughter is vegetarian too and can cook a grilled cheese sandwich and not much else. She has been a vegetarian since she was 4, much to my annoyance, but because she loved animals and once she learned meat came from slaughtering animals she refused it. I tried passing off "tree grown ham" for awhile but she was wise to me. I wish she cooked. She comes to me for her extravagant veggie meals and I like meat. Really do not feel full without meat. I am TRYING because I am an animal lover and I know it right and I know it is better for me.

Oh yeah, I forgot, in her honor, she can also make green bean casserole and that is always her contribution at holiday meals. She is not Vegan, just vegetarian.

Beyond Meat sold at Target and TDF. Tons of spices and even a smoky taste. No Soy and no GMO's.
