    Happy Sunday/Father's Day, all.

Tony B's new Swell mod is looking interesting. The frame/PCB is waterproof rather than the entire case so there's no extra hoo-hah when changing batts. Dual 18650s make 188W and it has replaceable G10 panels. The Bluetooth support is a bit gimmicky but I suppose someone will find that lost device feature useful. Not sure what the mod only cost will be but it's a step ahead of the Jackaroo, IMO. I'll take erection innuendo over sheep herder slang, I guess :D

I'm really liking what I'm seeing with the Swell especially the weight and menu system.

Always nice to have a mod you can throw in the sink. But that BT support for finding you mod will kill your battery if you leave it always on. And if it's meant to find the missing mod, you need to leave it on. Ignoring that, looks good.

    2k18 doggystyle RTA:

A doggy trick we have all been using: to get the deck off the tank, stick a small screwdriver end into the airflow hole, and use that to twist the deck. The airflow ring can be quite loose on some RTAs, so this saves you having to take off the airflow ring, just to unscrew the deck.

I've had no leaking. The juice flow control works by using the drip tip to twist the chamber. Seems to work well. I top filled and had no gurgling whatsoever. Just close the jfc before filling, fill, push the top cap down lightly - turn the tank upside down, push in the top-cap all the way. Then flip it back up, open up the JFC, and open up the airflow hole. (This was the recommended way of filling on the animodz site)

Coiling: You can do bigger coils in this version of the doggy. My stock coil though is ss216l 2.5mm id, slightly spaced with 5 or 6 full wraps. I place the coil about 1mm above the airflow hole.

Wicking: I cut the cotton in line with the deck, stuff it in, and position the tails as in the pic below:

    Have fun ;)

Hello again! Do these tanks “crack” easily (I.e., do they absorb flavors so only one can/should be used)? Do I need to stock up on replacements? I have the coil installed. 28 g 316L at 2.5 mm diameter with 7 wraps. I had loads of fun building it because it took me back to the days when I exclusively used the STM RBAs , it was like coming back to an old friend [emoji4]

I've tried the 2k16 PC tank with a lemon mix (capella Italian lemon Sicily) in it, and it survived just fine. I've also switched from mints to berries and back to mints in the same 2k18 tank, with only a warm rinse in between - with no leftover taste ;)

For being a plastic tank - they seem pretty bulletproof. Unless you're @NolaMel and drop it outside on concrete ;)

    Hello All:

I am here to report I feel a JILLION times better including my back. Thank God. I even think I can attend wok tomorrow and not die. I still think my email was the bomb. I would not mind some CONFIRMATION of that mind you but I realize it was long, and boring. LOL.

Also I slept until 10. This means less things my happen but like, I have a week of half days coming up, then a week of 3/4 days so that should help.

I started on my dotmot MTL RTA and I think I comprehend it. Sort of. I started playing with it. I should watch some vids though because the DotMod sort of COULD NOT SUCK MORE with airflow. WHO on earth instructs you disassemble everything and MAKE the airflow what you want, and then tells you taking it off to "amend" the airflow will kill the coil?

Um, DotMod, do you want me to GUESS as far as my airflow? Come ON now. Also, my hunch is they wanted it to be a "high end" atomizer because by the time you have installed then removed the coil 50 times you say "I got my money's worth." I plan to finish today but I am not happy.

My target mini is like, dead. I think this means I get a Target pro or whatever it's called. I should check. Etc.

My mom's birthday clogs came! This is what they look like.

You can't justify purchasing such um, colorful shoes honestly if you are me. But, my mom did it. I am also awaiting this pair:

    815Td9UYlzL._SX700_.jpg
I needed a grey pair but like, I thought I had ordered them but had not. My sis sent me an Amazon gift card so like I actually purchased them. I now have 5 pairs of clogs. I think that's enough.

Sorry I realize this is not the shinyitis shoes thread.

I did not purchase more vape stuff but that's okay. My monthly coils came. Stuff from FT is coming.

I have to decide--Walmart or yoga? I am totally thinking yoga my doc was like "You need tor rest for like 4 days." So...

Happy father's day to all the GOOD parents. Stepdads, grandparent adopters, foster parents etc. Especially stepdads. It is like, almost impossible to be a great stepdad.

You sperm donors and abusers I am not talking to you. Although I doubt they appear on this thread.

I do think hallmark should do a "Father's day" and then a "Truly extra awesome father's day" or something. The cards would be more expensive and play tunes, IDK. Hallmark has never made sense to me. Happy father's day nonetheless!

I just ordered extra just in case. Plus I hadn’t made any hardware purchases today; I had to remedy that!:D

The way to keep them is to order a dozen replacement tanks . I broke one the first couple of days I had it (hit the concrete at a festival). Haven’t broken one since... because I have a boat load of backups!! @AngeNZ , you’re not going to let me forget that, are ya ;)??

Thanks for such an informative reply. Here’s the build. (I didn’t end up wicking it last night. ) Time to take this baby for a test drive!

ETA: wow, great flavor! Very impressed, especially given the price. I like the change of pace of the MTL. I’ve been DTL for over a year and I forgot how much I also like MTL!

Looks like maybe the wick shoulders are too thick. Did you comb the wicks?

Thank you. I obviously did not comb as much as I should’ve! I guess I’ll have to start all over in order to fix this. [emoji4]
