Looks like maybe the wick shoulders are too thick. Did you comb the wicks?

FYI...When you check the tracker 3-5 times daily to see how your package progresses, you find out how slow it really does...

I keep forgetting your using the 2k18. The older 2k16 version, you can stick a sock in it and not get a dry hit or leaking

I usually have quite thin tails in the 2k18 (using kendo gold), and narrow shoulders would do that too. It's also an rta that doesn't need a tight in the coil wick, so I usually start out with a less than normal amount of cotton.
