I just changed my order to get Nectarcus and Dis Won (vanilla custard). I want to taste what he has going on with both. 10 years, CAP v1 probably ??? IDK. I can't wait to try them both.

That and Grasshopper, for probably ten years? I bought long before he went commercial. Every now and then, I buy something from him, just because he’s a great guy, and I get lazy and nostalgic lol. I haven’t been mixing that long, but I (maybe mistakenly) think of cap Van custard as the og to go to.

Forgive me, I’m a little confused. It seems like people do an awful lot of finishing on these mods. Is that part of the allure? A mod that requires a final finishing by the end user?

Not necessarily part of the allure per se, and it's not that they can't be used and appreciated as they come (and many do just that). But, they'd cost significantly more if they came finely hand finished/polished, and for some, a reasonable price + some sweat equity is a good deal for a nicely finished/polished stabwood mod.

Have you ever had one of those days when you get a brand new RTA and you're really looking forward to vaping it. But then the thing drives you so completely insane for hours on end that you want to pretend you've never bought it, or toss it in a drawer to be lost forever, or in moments of real anger throw it out of an open window?

Well friends the Spica Pro is that tank for me and I'm sure many of it's unique design innovations were purposefully invented by masochists in an attempt to utterly frustrate the user. And even when I got the thing finally right I had none of that vaping satisfaction because the sheer trials I had to perform to get to that stage left me utterly disillusioned. But the flavour is very good, even excellent but I don't think it will be in active rotation somehow. I'm a simple Muppet who is getting old and is very tired of unnecessary faff.

I feel for you there.....and I fervently hope that none of mine do that to me....

That was exactly what the Ehpro Revel did to me and I swore i'd never touch another RTA again......well until now.

I'm pretty glad that most of them are tried and tested so hopefully (touch wood) they will be fine...yes fine....

@chanelvaps Sorry to here about your water issue but I agree with show me twice that your landlord should be responsible. Another thing, the water company may soak up some of the cost for you or your landlord (if he's paying) if it's due to a burst pipe or something beyond your control. The French and UK water companies do anyway...I expect you'll get it sorted out without too much angst

No packages for me anytime soon.....I live in hope that they'll finally extract themselves from the Chinese connection

It hadn’t occurred to me to do anything to mine, until I started seeing the results. Lovely work, folks. I haven’t refinished any of mine yet but I may do that one day. They’re fine as is, imho, but they do look nice all shiny.

At last, my shiny thingy is on the plain. From when I received the shipped notice, to actually it getting on the plane, took 13 agonizing days...CRAZY !!!
I'm OVER PostNL shipping from 3Fvape They shifted it to 4 warehouses in their elaborate process.
It actually happened before when I chose them...yeah i'm a slow learner I know...BUT, I KNOW NOW what I KNOW....know what I mean...?

Morning all hope you're all having a lovely day. Really sunny here today which makes a change.

No post yet. Turns out my second FT order was actually already in the UK, just stuck in Langely Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre aka the black pit. In many ways it's like the Mines of Moria from The Lord of the Rings because once stuff goes into that place it seldom ever comes out again. Fortunately my parcel only spent 3 days there.

Supposed to not rain today so I need to make the most of it. Get my chores caught up so that when my shiny stuff arrives later this week, I can play with that.

Today I’m supposed to get the flush valve assemble and algicide for the pool, and as I am not going to be tied to the phone all day, I need to get the grass cut and some other yard work done before UPS comes. Hoping to spray the weeds and sweep the pool so I can do the algicide early, and run the pump all day.

I got all my empty Boston 120s washed yesterday and hoped to mix today, but that may have to wait.

If it’s as nice as they say it’s going to be, I’d like to take my mom outside for a little while. I’m tired already.

I have exactly two mods with any silver in them.

I have purchased such that I actually need black tanks for nearly everything I own...

even the Crown 4 Mod I have needs either a black or a blue tank.. silver does not match it..
