Supposed to not rain today so I need to make the most of it. Get my chores caught up so that when my shiny stuff arrives later this week, I can play with that.

Today I’m supposed to get the flush valve assemble and algicide for the pool, and as I am not going to be tied to the phone all day, I need to get the grass cut and some other yard work done before UPS comes. Hoping to spray the weeds and sweep the pool so I can do the algicide early, and run the pump all day.

I got all my empty Boston 120s washed yesterday and hoped to mix today, but that may have to wait.

If it’s as nice as they say it’s going to be, I’d like to take my mom outside for a little while. I’m tired already.
I’m tired just reading everything you have to do lol!

Chels, I don't know if you are interested but I do know of an RTA I think you might like.

The Dvarw MTL V2 Styled RTA. There is a rather long thread here on the Dvarw with many build tips and tricks. Plus very helpful folks. Many love theirs and say the flavor is simply awesome. I don't have one, yet, but it is on my bucket list.

Everything I have read and videos watched tells me it is a very forgiving and easy RTA to build on.

This one comes with 3 different tank sizes. Also with 5 AF inserts for tuning to your preference. They are sized as follows 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1.3mm, 1.8mm and 2.3mm. So you can get from pretty tight to fairly wide open. They also make a DL version if that is your thing.

$14.90 Dvarw MTL V2 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 316 stainless steel + PC / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Cheers :)
Hey, that's the one I bought! I'll get it someday (ordered May 27).

Tbh I was referring to Douglas Adam’s Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, but I love Neil Young too.
I didn't even think of Neil Young. As a result, @ShowMeTwice's response confused me deeply for a moment

I have all three books, can't find the third atm. Totally loved the movie.
Wish they would have made the other two books into movies.
You have a much better memory than I with the Heart of Gold reference.
I was so disappointed by the movie. I like the ratty old TV show much better, and the radio version best of all (it came first, so no wonder). I first encountered that by chance in 1980 and knew instantly I was in love forever.

P.S. There are five books in the "trilogy" (I don't count the sixth). You need to read them, too.

Hola fellow shinyitizens,
Having repaired my beloved RSQ, my addiction screams for another or three.

Wanted:
RSQ squonker with a loose/broken 510.
Must include door.
Any color/condition considered.
Please PM if you have an RSQ sitting broken/idle/un-loved, I have a home for it.
Thanks in advance.
Izan
I'm stealing this, so tired of the discussion.
Salts or Freebase can be used in ANY device. Don't believe the marketing.

Oh almost forgot I did pick up a new small shiny over the weekend.
Decided I'm gonna be one of the pod people on vacation. Gonna take 2 with different flavors. Dont wanna lose one of my precious mods or have it stolen.
Anyway, grabbed a smok trinity alpha.
Similar to the Orion in design and runs on the nord coils that I know I'm a fan of.

Has a lanyard which is a bonus. Same basic airflow as the original nord so flavor is good.
One of the only pods I have seen that let's you use your own 510 drip tip also.
Has a soft, normal and hard setting also.

Top fill so you dont have to remove the pod.

So far I'm impressed, I'll report back if any issues.

Oh and DNA has them cheap right now at 22 bucks.

I have to say my vape style has changed dramatically in the last several months. My at home vaping has basically gone squonking, and I'm favoring my mechs squonks with my little flavor banger rdas over all else. My outside vape has become one of several pods depending on mood or level of stealth anticipated. I haven't touched an rta other than an original OBS Engine in all this time. I have a bunch of RTAs in need of breakdown and cleaning as even if I wanted to to restart use, they're essentially shot barring a complete clean and rebuild cycle.

Funny how tastes and style can change. I'm sure I'll get the other stuff back into rotation at some point, but I'm having fun with what I'm now using. It's also altered my shiny outlook. I'm mostly interested in high quality mech squonks right now or real deals of older stuff on sale. I figure the mech squonks will outlast me as long as I take care of them, unlike anything with a board. I'd also look at unregulated with a mosfet or something provided it looks easy to replace or bypass when it fails.

Morning Shiny's! :)

Hope all have an awesome day.

Waiting for the morning dew to dry so I can mow my lawn.
Drinking my coffee earlier and was just daydreaming + looking out my kitchen window and I noticed a red tailed hawk in the yard. Was a big one, female (always larger than males). She just hung around for a while and then flew off. They are an amazing bird of prey.
Here, not the one in my yard nor my photo...

The source of every so-called eagle cry we hear in movies/TV show. (Bald eagles have such a funny, wimpy squawk/whine.)

It's funny you should say that because that's almost bang on to where i've been heading. Squonking just makes sense and let's face it the small RDA's have the best flavour and they're easy to use and squonk with.

I'm finding that my vaping style has become a lot more relaxed...0.5-0.8 single coil builds on my DNA regulated squonkers are perfect....and the same with the Billet Box...such a good vape.

I tend to dual use with my pods and carry a pod and a BB when I go out but I use the pod exclusively in certain situations.

I have just decided to try RTA's again though after a lifetime of no way....so that'll be interesting...vaping is just bringing a lot of interest and pleasure lately and long may it continue :D

As many eagles as we have around here I never knew that.:?:
The babies are the funniest. They are huge and homely and make a tremendous whinging racket. It's also pretty hilarious listening to an eagle whimper as it's fleeing from a few crows or gulls. So majestic!

As for vaping habits changing which @charlie1465 and @Eskie mentioned it got me thinking too. When I first quit I was very much into my RDA’s and mechs, RTA’s always caused me problems. That is until the day I finally sat down and learnt to build them properly.

Then I kind got myself into a routine of using a trouble free RTA like my Taifun or my Heron and simply accepting that was the way I was going to vape for months at a time. I think the real problem for me was the sheer drought of MTL tanks at one point. I also tended to stick to dual 18650 devices too and it sounds a shame to say I stopped using my mechs.

But things have improved greatly now and I’m more willing to enjoy a little flexibility with my RTA’s as long as I have true MTL options available to use when needed. I’ve also changed my mod habits and find myself using single 18650 or 21700 devices too because sometimes you just want to reach for that nice little mod that is comfortable to use.

I’m never going to get tired of RTA’s because I’m one of those people that likes to find out how different juices vape in a variety of tanks. It’s always fun to discover whether one might be better with fruit or a custard, and whether it will be a sweeter or denser flavour.

I’ve also got to a point where I am even going backwards in a way with RTA’s and looking for more retro design ideas and I think the new bottom fill KF Lite clone certainly prompted that. Plus the new Flash-e-vapor I got pretty much confirms that thinking. Sometime simplicity is preferable to a host of new innovations that don't always work so well.

Another change is that for the last 2-3 weeks I’ve even been using my mechs again and buying new ones. I’ve even been using my Apocalypse RDA again and I’m left wondering why I left it unused in a box for so long. Sometimes it’s really good just to vape a 0.3 ohm dual coil build and get that mouth-watering flavour and fill the room with some really dense clouds! I think I’m going to have to create a new rule for myself and keep that RDA or the Kennedy in active rotation.

Just checking that out. Is the AF adjustable? I didn’t see anything about that.
It is not adjustable, but it is just right for good flavor on the .6 mesh coil.
They remedied the mistake they made on the nord aio, giving it too much airflow killing flavor.
Draw is nearly identical to the original nord. So restricted dl vape.
