I use them all the time for protection....they stop the atty from scratching the mod as you continuously take it on and off over time :)

Also use them occasionally for the same reason as you did :)

I don't take atty's off and on continuously, nor do I tighten atty's down tight to mods. Instead I leave a very small gap between them if the 510 is tight enough, or if not add a very small profile o-ring around the atty's 510 that keeps it off the mod. I've also always bought enough gear to dedicate an atty and a mod together as a setup and just leave them together until they need to be pit stopped. Since I also dedicate the DIY I run in each setup the atty's do not need to be pit stopped (rewicked/recoiled/cleaned) very often. A no fuss no muss way that works well for me anyway. :)

If anyone is interested, there's a French series with 2 seasons on Netflix called Black Spot (no idea on how Netflix chose that title as the original French one is Pointe Blanche). It's a mashup of Twin Peaks and the X-Files with a French twist. I'm hoping on a Season 3.
Told my mother about this one, and she is finding it watchable (she's fussy), so thanks very much for mentioning it

Morning shinies ;)

My FT squonk order is still on the hamster driven slow boat somewhere between Nanjing and NZ

I checked the tracking numbers on four different sites, just to make sure, and still got the same result ;)
You need to distract yourself ... perhaps go shopping for something shiny ... there are plenty of 'slow boat' companies to choose from ... pick a few and then you could initiate 'slow boat' races and you're no longer tracking your mail ... you're officiating the Slow Boat Cup Yacht races.

It's quiet in shiny town so like, I guess it's all emotional hangover from the sales.

I have decided against a tummy tuck, for now. I think it's a wise choice. For now, anyway. LOL.

I got a refund from the Silver Relic place (they didn't have it I guess but I am SO glad they had you know, MY money for a week to invest) but I finally went to Grey Haze (that vape shop makes m want to live in England honestly sometimes) and got it there, for cheaper because like, well I Wanted it, on my mod Bucket List I guess.

Then I picked up my stabwood asmodus thing.

Then I'm done actually. I will not allow me to buy any RTAs until I set up the ones I have and some of them are complicated and I need another mod like I need another 10 lbs on the stomach

I did yoga this morning. Heroically.

All my torch flashlights use rechargeable 6000mAh BT 18650 Li-ion batteries. I've been meaning to buy some rechargeable AAA and AA batts as well, never did get around to it though.

6000mAh? I didn't know that that was possible with that chemistry and size, interesting ... 3400mAh was the max on a Pana when I last checked a few years ago.

I just posted my review on the Mass Mods S2 squonk I got if anyone wants to take a peek and has nothing else to spend their time plowing through. I know it's not as good as Stranger Things, but if you do make it through the entire season, your feedback is appreciated (and yes, I know there are too many pictures and I type too much).

I never felt any need to dig any deeper on their specs so have no idea what they are duty rated at... but those branded as 6000mAh are Garberiel and the 5000mAh that came with the torch flashlights are Ultra Fire.

But those are rated what, 4A?

Besides, it says Fire in the brand. That's never good.

LoL I bought a headlamp from China and it was loaded with those fire batteries...6500Mah but it weighs less than my 2500Mah vape ones. Worst of all the battery case is located at the back of the head (right where my vape cortex is). I threw them away...don't want to risk blowing away the little I have...

Happy Monday, shinesters. I'm still on the new juice journey.

I've been on the fence about trying this line for a while. I dunno why, I guess I thought the names were a little cheesy. This one really surprised me, though. I'm getting a spot on soft, cakey chocolate cookie with white icing/ creme filling. I've already killed about 20ml since this morning. It really comes alive at higher wattages, too. At 120-130W I get kind of a Hostess Cupcake/Suzy Q vibe. The chocolate is accurate to a cheap snack cake chocolate, too. Decadence in a bottle.

I don't use them in my vape gear (and for my use of the torches they only see very short intermediate use occasionally). So I don't care at all what they are rated at. :|

@lupinehorror @jandrew Guys...specially for you here's the result although the picture don't do it justice really. @Zaziie made me think of this but I ended up rounding off a screw in the base and I personally think that asmodus have been having trouble screwwing into the stabs sometimes and then what do they do?? Glue it :) It certainly felt like that it wouldn't budge....felt like the screw head was going to shear off!!

Anyway, decided that the silver would be nice so did it as is. It's had 220 grit, then 400 grit, then 600 grit. Then finished off with the buffing wheel with pre-polish medium and then fine....finally 2 coats of beeswax to nourish the stabwood :) Hopefully the screws on my other one will come out without problems and then we'll have a nice contrast....

Looks great! I use blue or black electrical tape since they’re under warranty still.

Sorry Ive not been around much.. there's no catching up so I'm just peeking my head in the door..

:)

I won the new Freemax M Pro tank in grey (Yea!) during my absence..

hope every one is well!

@HightechRedneck We had a mouse this morning, hubby slept through the melee with me running around in boots with a broom, while the cat was chasing a mouse and myself trying to whack the mouse without whacking the cat..

the cat had so much fun doing that at 4 am she decided she wanted me to join her again in seeing if we couldn't catch another this evening - I told her it kind of helps if there's an actual mouse to catch, but she is sure we could scare one up if we wanted.... haha

My love to everyone!

Thank you you... The black tape wouldn't work as I sand them on a flat surface.... By holding the whole mod down onto a sheet facing upwards and placed on a table.

That's why I was trying to get the whole thing apart :)

I'll just have to hope that nothing goes wrong with it

    morning all.
sure there's a name for it but when you feel torrid but there seems to be nothing specific causing it? that.
tracking oddness also though right now even shiny isn't going to boost mood. incredibly short-staffed at work also. here's to getting today over with.
