@HightechRedneck We had a mouse this morning, hubby slept through the melee with me running around in boots with a broom, while the cat was chasing a mouse and myself trying to whack the mouse without whacking the cat..

the cat had so much fun doing that at 4 am she decided she wanted me to join her again in seeing if we couldn't catch another this evening - I told her it kind of helps if there's an actual mouse to catch, but she is sure we could scare one up if we wanted.... haha

Seemed a bit quiet yesterday or was it me?

Nothing much to report except I've got 20 120ml ldpe bottles coming. And a sanding pack... 180 pieces running from 180 grit to 6000 grit. I'll probably try and get the Luna even shinier

Opened a ticket with FT yesterday because a package that was originally posted on the 22 May and then got sent back by customs... Has now been on way to France for over a week. They've just told me this morning to please wait another 2 weeks before they put in a claim... Sheesh

I never felt any need to dig any deeper on their specs so have no idea what they are duty rated at... but those branded as 6000mAh are Garberiel and the 5000mAh that came with the torch flashlights are Ultra Fire.

You may be worried if you stripped off the metal casing ( do not do this at home!) and saw the 1/2 size cell and flammable filler inside .. Ultrafire = many garbage fakes everywhere, anything that says >3400mAh ditto & dangerous. I wouldn't use them for anything, including my torches and LED head lamps.

Many strip downs on the net, this one shows lack of protection pcb, fake venting holes, loosely added on button tops, used repurposed tagged cells wrapped as Ultrafire and so on. The same fakes exist in the flat top vape market too.

I decided to try out the newly polished and silvered Luna this morning so I unscrewed my Venna from the VT Inbox and popped it on there......wait for it.......it didn't work

I thought oh no the water has got in when I used the wet n dry on it yesterday No warranty now either!!

Turned out to be the atty which had been working before on the VT but when I unscrewed and checked it it had an check atty warning

Anyway, swapped it over for the NarEa and it worked fine......minor panic over....lesson....keep calm and diagnose

I'm watching Dark. Got through about 5 episodes. It's pretty good but I feel it gives up a little too much info too quickly. It reminds me of Predestination with Kevin Bacon. Sorta the same twist.

Heey Guys.....strange story alert

About 5 weeks ago a small amazon package arrived it turned out to be a magnetic watch charger. I don't know what watches they work on but probably digital newby types. Anyway, I didn't order it and it didn't show up in either my Amazon or bank account. I decide that it was such a small amount of money that there was no point pursuing it.

About 3 weeks later another amazon package turned up....this time with a seriously cheap mosquito plug in trap..now we do get bothered by mozzies so i thought ah well maybe I clicked on Prime and had forgotten about it. Anyway, when I checked it was the same as before...not in my amazon account or bank.

This time I contacted amazon via their chat service and explained the situation to the guy who said I could keep the products and that he would look into it and contact me back when they had got to the bottom of the situation..At the moment I am still waiting to be recontacted.

Fast forward to today and it's happened again...this time an ultrasonic cleaner came. I have several other items I actually ordered so at first I thought it was one of those. It's only a 600ml unit but actually quite useful to me for atties etc. Extremely bizarre.

Has anyone else ever had this happen to them??? The guy i spoke to said it didn't happen at all so it is really weird. This time the product costs a little more than peanuts ie...30 quid

I get some random things I didn’t order included with my actual order, but not often, and not just from Amazon.

From Amazon one Christmas I got the weird plastic thing. It was in a plastic bag with an item number so I looked it up. It was a magazine refiller. You put some sort of bullets in, and it puts them into a clip. I couldn’t make any sense of the thing. No idea what caliber it was for, no further info.

Also got a random case of high iron, gentle on the tummy premixed baby formula. Goes about $60 a case. That was from Walmart. I called to ask about returning it, and since they had no record of my receiving it, they could not send a return label. They said I’d have to pay. Or bring it to the store. Either way, they were going to throw it out.

So I asked around and found someone who’s baby drank it.

That’s about it I think. One time I ordered Advantix from Walmart and they gave me three packs for the price of one. After that formula fiasco, I didn’t bother to say anything.

precisely the same has been happening to me for the last few months. very odd. 60% of it's makeup stuff...odd bits of electronics fill the other 40%. most of it worthless and useless.

I keep getting packages from Amazon addressed to somebody else with a similar name to mine, and with my address on them. They're never things that I would actually order, like HDMI cables and cell phone cases. I've been on chat 3 times with Amazon, and once on the phone (they called me). Each time, of course, they told me it was taken care of. But the packages keep coming, and we just put the contents in our "charity box", and run them down to the donation locations as it gets full.

No one ever sends me surprise stuff from Amazon for free. Would be fun even if it was totally useless for me like a kid's Halloween costume. OK, that wouldn't be so fun, but you get the idea.
