Morning shinies

I got one of my fasttech orders through yesterday. Included was an Aromanizer V2. A flash-e-vapor, a dvarw dl, a doggy style, a blue gloom, another gold dna BB and lots of of classy drip tips. I also got myself a single coil deck for the aromaniser...i just don't want to build too low these days..

Anyone use the single coil deck or is the standard dual coil deck better??

I was never a fan of any of Steam Craves single decks, they all need a big build in them to shine IMHO. I assume you mean the Aromamizer Supreme V2 as the Aromamizer V2 is a totally different duck.

I run dual 0.3mm x 0.8mm flatware builds on the Velocity deck in my Supreme V2s around 80W. The new Supreme V2s come with the postless deck stock now and it works perfectly too, actually easier to build and wick than the Velocity.

If you like the Supreme V2 then the Plus is a 30mm version and my go-to tank (3 in daily rotation) with the 15ml bubble glass.

unlikely anyone here will be getting inked in bonny scotland but i recommend tribe tattoo if you do. nice rhyme there if i do say so myself.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. Yes it is the supreme and I knew you were a fan that's partly why I got one because everyone was raving about them.

So have you actually tried the single coil deck? I'll probably take your advice and build a dual set up the first time if only to get a bench mark on throat hit and flavour.

Currently breaking in an EUC coil in the BB....they take a bit of careful handling to get the best out of them I hear

Just lots of love for some beautiful hobby “collectibles” that we can all appreciate and be happy for others when they are happy!!!

Some people see vape gear as cigarettes replacements. Others have turned it up a notch (or two lol) and are enjoying these devices just like other hobbiests enjoy whatever they’re into.

Vape mods, Russian dolls, pet rocks who cares as long as we’re enjoying it and have others to enjoy it with too!!

I use the single coil deck with the Supreme V2 and the Aromizer V2. it’s the same deck for both the Supreme V2 and Aromamizer V2. I also have the postless deck. I put the single coil deck in and it hasn’t been taken out since. You can build some nice sized coils with the single deck. I usually use an id of 3.5 to 4.0mm depending on the type of build which for me is usually pretty simple. Great flavor imo. Just play around with the placement so it’s lining up with the airflow holes. Took me a couple of tries playing with it but not difficult at all.

Tip- remember to close off afc and juice control when not using. Sometimes you’ll get some “seeping” until you’ve got the wicking down 100%.

Steam Crave actually has some great instructions on its website because people were complaining about condensation vs seeping. Once I got the wicking spot on its never been a problem but I still shut off both.

Hope that helps and you enjoy it. The flavor is awesome. I don’t like many RTAs but that’ll be 2 RTAs I won’t part with.

Yes I enjoy it very much. For me, I’ve tried 3mm, 3.5mm id but 3mm Clapton’s or any other fancy wire works well.

I use rayon, for cotton wicking just make sure it’s fluffy & just sitting in the juice well.

For me since I vape anywhere from 29-34 watts works great. I have the airflow on the smaller slit side.

Yes I have tried it in dual coil mod. But I prefer to build single coil.

I think trolldragon likes more airflow & Vapes at higher wattages.

You’ll be fine! It’s really no different than any other rta in that too much wick, you will get a dry hit. Too little you’ll get leakage.

One of my 3 slowboatees is in NZ, but it's the ft order of mtl clapton wire and a RDA. Can't wait to try out the wire, I've only ever used single wire or twisted wire. This may be another rabbit hole

Are you using it with the airflow plugs or fully open?

Currently I have the 1.5mm AF insert installed. For me it's a very comfortable MTL and I'm able to get a nice restricted DL with it. Not too tight nor too airy. It's running a 36/28 ss316L clapton at 0.7Ω and in TC on a JAC. I've been through all the AF inserts and enjoy switching it up with every build. Every type of wire I've tried works great.

I did try the Tripod wide open with a low build just to see how it did with DL. It was nice but with the 4mm AF it was way too airy for me. I did generate my very own huge clouds though lol. With the airflow ring I was able to bring it down from 4mm to a more comfy vape for me. RDL/MTL works real nice with the 1.8mm AF insert installed.
