Currently I have the 1.5mm AF insert installed. For me it's a very comfortable MTL and I'm able to get a nice restricted DL with it. Not too tight nor too airy. It's running a 36/28 ss316L clapton at 0.7Ω and in TC on a JAC. I've been through all the AF inserts and enjoy switching it up with every build. Every type of wire I've tried works great.

I did try the Tripod wide open with a low build just to see how it did with DL. It was nice but with the 4mm AF it was way too airy for me. I did generate my very own huge clouds though lol. With the airflow ring I was able to bring it down from 4mm to a more comfy vape for me. RDL/MTL works real nice with the 1.8mm AF insert installed.

I've got a serpent mini RTA with a 4mm airflow id. MTL is possible by reducing the airflow - but it's certainly better and smoother with a 2.5mm id and below. On that note, the new RDL airflow inserts coming out from Atmizoo with batch 2 of the Tripod will be right up my and @NolaMel 's alley ;)

Actually I have to admit I have never eaten kale that I know of.

Me neither, no plans to start anytime soon either ;) It's 'trendy' fried as fries or using the leaves in a salad. But to me, all leaves are rabbit food, and kale is a funny looking turnip (I'm not very health conscious) ;)

Got bitten by the shinyitis bug yesterday, as well as the "rebuildable necessity" bug lol was given an amazon gift card so I've ordered a replacement coil building tool set to replace my old one that went walkies (bit of a necessity if you ask me) and then I ordered the brunhilde rdta..... I was trying to hold off until I had the spare cash, but a gift card kinda leads to shinyitis

Dude, it's ALL good turnip greens are good heck brussell sprouts are good if you COOK them right you savages.

I am talking to my parents. Me and the little brother had the cooking gene so we had a great cook off to make EVERYTHING foul taste delicious our parents ever fed us.

I won, with tongue. To be fair, tongue is not hard as long as you don't BOIL it or whatever then smother it in instant gravy. It was a time like I think my parents had too much kid and not enough job so like my mom was mad there was a kid mutiny when we were all musing on it's strange shape and whatnot and I scraped off the gravy and said, "BUMPS. TASTE buds. You are LYING it is tongue."

When my mom got sick and I took over the cooking well she was on steroids for a LONG time but I bet my cooking helped a bit.

LOL me and my bro got no interest in the health benefits though. We were in it for the GLORY. LOL.

I love food. Always lived to eat, not ate to live. Prefered the short fast life when it came to food...but it caught up with me.
Now lately between the kales, greens and ofcourse moringa, i'm jumping around like a young rabbit again.
I still treat myself on weekends with something on the No No list....pepper steak pie, chocolate cake, sourdough bread, big juicy steak on the barbie...and Friday night is curry night...lamb madras !!!
Which reminds me....its weekend in NZ

WoW that is cool...never knew that. Thanks for that.
Is it only the DNA 60 that it can be done with, cause it don't work on the DNA75s.
It works that way on the 60, for the 75C and 250C you can select it from the menus but you need the International version of the firmware.
    Early Firmware and EScribe Suite

On the OG 75 and 200 you have to use a modified Kanthal wire profile to get Boost (Punch) in wattage mode, but it is always available for TC. Except you have to go into eScribe and set the amount of Punch for each profile, which is a bit of a PiTA until you get it dialed in for what you like.

    UK & much further East.
Its soooo weird waking up and having to comment on something said pages ago...man things move fast here.

I love a Madras. I found out recently how the Indian shops make their curries...utube "base gravy" and "pre cooked meat for curry".
I been making curries for ever. Could never get it like them. Now I make it better, cause its identical and homemade

I was taught the rudiments by the mother of a South Indian girlfriend I had late 70s, then travelled there. I should have run away with her mother, an incredible cook ....

Most Indian restaurants cook food that is not even remotely like Indian food, unless you can find that rare gem, I used to frequent a South Indian vegetarian place in Bristol, real, outstanding. There's also one that is very good in Plymouth SW UK called "Veggy Perrins" it's cheap, they love what they do 8).

In UK "Indian" restaurants are 85% owned by people from Pakistan. Balti was invented in northern UK etc etc. I'm told it's easier to find authentic Indian food in the USA now.

When I have the time to do it properly I cook it the way I was taught, which does not involve piles of pre-cooked meat ( restaurants & takeaways often use "mechanically recovered" chicken formed into pieces- google it and be shocked) and 10 types of sauce that are then combined. Yuck!

When I don't have the time I quickly saute meat, fish and/or veg with separate spices ( in large not teaspoon quantities!) then chuck it all in a slow cooker with coconut milk or whatever, simples 8)

A good overview of S. Indian foods here- South Indian Recipes, 950 South Indian Dishes, Food Recipes, Tarladalal.com

Go for Gujarat recipes, fantastic, I go to a Gujarati restaurant in Moscow, real South Indian folks, a symphony of food and not crazy expensive, if you can find such a place run there!

Thanks:) It's an Advken Gorge. I think you would like it a lot. I haven't had any luck finding another lately.

Just as well. Not like I need anymore. And when I say that I often buy it anyway.
    (Nvm lol)

    Morning all.

I’m conscious of healthy food, just not good at making most of it. Junk food junkie with zero self control.

Every day it seems like there’s some new miracle food. It was parsley for a while. Who can eat a cup of parsley?

I’ve had kale chips, made them with vinegar and sea salt. Not bad really.

But I’m old enough to know there is not one super food. If you eat something and feel better, it’s because it has some nutrients you’ve been deficient in. It doesn’t mean you need to eat 5lbs of it every day. It means you need to vary your diet.

Food appeals or doesn’t based, I think, how much of it we should consume to survive.

I just go to the farmer’s market as long as it’s open and get a little of whatever is in season.

Having a chronic illness for years, I’ve had all I can stand of people sending me links about miracle cure foods with zero science to back up the claims. Every mom blogger on the planet thinks they know best. Balderdash.
