Happy Friday shiners! Have to sit down and do my juice orders this weekend, can;t really put it off any longer. But what I really want are some more quality mech squonks. Seems like that's the only thing I'm using of late. And they'll last forever (mostly). I know the Luna is a great deal, but it's not really a mech, and I'm on an avoidance protocol for electronics for the next several buys. Saw a Half Moon mods on sale, but even on sale isn't cheap. Looks really pretty but I'm not sure. I'll be obsessing over stuff like that through the weekend.

If I'm not around by Monday it means the IRS probably got me. These are NOT medical devices to use towards itemized deductions.

Oh and my bank account won't let me sign in.
You may have to call the bank to sort that out.

My one bank (I use 2) will close my online access if I don’t sign on at least monthly. I only use the pc to log on. I have to create a new account about every time. But to set up their app on my phone I have to go in to the bank so I haven’t gotten around to that yet.

Interested in what you find. I’m loving the Lunas - the blinky lights offer a sense of security for me. But I could use a mech or three for the stash.

If it was just a mosfet for the switch I wouldn't mind but there's other stuff (not a lot to fail but more than if no stuff) that can potentially fail. And with deeming looming I want as much failure resistant stuff as I can find. I know lots of stuff will still be available after the now 9 month application due date, but we all know mechs will disappear as not a one will survive the approval process. No electrical safety protections, no sales.

That’s exactly why I’m interested. I can’t foresee a future where I’m not vaping. I can foresee a future where I can’t buy what I need and can’t fix what I have.

I just need to vent about people who are completely unaware of anything in the universe.

I drive some pretty junky cars back in my poor days. When I finally got a nice one - a used Cougar, but it was nice - I quickly decided to park well away from everyone, especially cars that looked like they’d been through a derby.

I’m driving the Silver Dodo now, and out of respect (and acknowledgement of my parking/unpacking limitations) I park at the far end of the lot so I don’t take any extra fenders with me when I leave.

Out here, we’re never wanting for parking spaces, and I know that’s not common everywhere, but there’s really few places I go where I can’t be a dozen spaces from another vehicle.

I was in a lot like that yesterday. Way out at the edge all alone.

I come back to the truck to find a brand new BMW parked on my driver’s side. Close. Well sure, he could still get in his car, because he was parked with his passenger side toward me. I however need to fully open my door to climb in.

I saw that and said “What a .........!” Didn’t notice the guy was right behind me until he said “excuse me???”

I just gave him a dirty look and got my stuff in the back end.

Then I start to unlock my door and he yells “you better not hit my door!”

I swore at him and said “I don’t give two (expletives) about your door, you (expletive). You park that close to me I’ll total that pop can.”

So this guy is of course substantially larger than I and about my age, starts walking towards me.

I’m not having it.

“Bring it, gramps. You come near me I will flip your off switch.”

One of these days imma get myself killed like that, but so far it’s worked, lol.

Oh and my bank account won't let me sign in.
I changed from a samsung note 2 to and S8 and I had to phone the bank to get it altered over to the new phone. It migrated the app and everything but like you it wouldnt function properly.

Hope you get it sorted out :)

I’m conscious of healthy food, just not good at making most of it. Junk food junkie with zero self control.

Every day it seems like there’s some new miracle food. It was parsley for a while. Who can eat a cup of parsley?

I’ve had kale chips, made them with vinegar and sea salt. Not bad really.

But I’m old enough to know there is not one super food. If you eat something and feel better, it’s because it has some nutrients you’ve been deficient in. It doesn’t mean you need to eat 5lbs of it every day. It means you need to vary your diet.

Food appeals or doesn’t based, I think, how much of it we should consume to survive.

I just go to the farmer’s market as long as it’s open and get a little of whatever is in season.

Having a chronic illness for years, I’ve had all I can stand of people sending me links about miracle cure foods with zero science to back up the claims. Every mom blogger on the planet thinks they know best. Balderdash.
I have, just in the last two years, shopped only at Trader Joe's. You really can get everything you need there for everyday life. Maybe not the stuff to make a glorious fattening cake, such as I am making today. Red Velvet made from scratch for grandsons birthday. But other then Trader Joe's I buy all meat from a butcher who only sells organic. I also use the local farmers markets. I have become extremely aware of GMO's and such and the regular grocery store is FULL of them.

Do you have a Kubaton or similar device on your keychain, might be a good thing unless you have a CC permit. ;)

Good morning Shiny's.

I eat my fair share of healthy foods. And avoid fast foods as my body won't tolerate that stuff.

Even my dog loves her veggies... green and red leaf lettuce, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes etc. When I make a salad or sandwich she is right there waiting for scraps or better. I even cut some up and put it in her food bowl with her regular food. She loves them and they are good for her. Not many dogs will eat veggies.

Everything in moderation...
