@AngeNZ are highlands the curly fluffy ones? Those are so dang cute.

I got a pack of five squonk refill bottles from ft today, supposed to come Monday. They were I think $7 and they look it, lol, but good enough for my needs.

Spent too much at the yarn store. My yarn stash is going to last me almost as long as my nic stash at this point. Oh well, if I should have to survive an apocalypse I’ll be vaping with warm feet.

Good afternoon Shiny's :)

I hope all are well and enjoying the day.

Shiny mail delivered two packages late yesterday. I received a Project X MTL rta and 3 rda's (VA Apex, Haku Venna and a YFTK Pocket) and a Gloom. The Project X MTL is a really nice MTL with a not too tight and not too airy draw. It's very comparable to the Prime at the 1.4mm AF setting. I am really liking it.

No plumbers. Definitive.

My landlord.... I took pics of everything, sent them, pointing out the depth of the trench varies from 8 to MAYBE 14 inches and 16 is standard to avoid freezing.

Apparantly I am a plumbing guru. The VERY first suggestion I made was to run a temporary pipe when I saw the "hole" and flush the system NOW and then do the work.

I was ignored. I told the landlord that to "assume" emergency Saturday and Sunday work was NUTBALLS, and I also said that if the woman he talked to said maybe three days, it would be four.

I also told him we were flushing and cleaning ourselves, to the best of our ability.

I told him my husband said I was a princess but I can COPE with much badness AS LONG as I know it is coming. I pointed out his many miscommunications, lies and assumptions. I told him.... To find a REAL plumbing company to maybe come "check" their work, and to not freaking pay them and just HALT.

A Bisbee plumber can come on Wed. I told him that water main breaks suck for EVERYONE but that we can cope, and we will manage, I JUST NEED THE TRUTH.

I was nice, but I was like, "This is YOUR property and if it were me, well, I would want it done right, there are worse things than bathing in a little DIRT and the toilets flush. We will live.

I'm sure he was shocked. I also told him if my water main burst in the winter, I would be likely to demand (or sue) FOR ALL MY rent money back.

Texts are better I think. In case I need them for evidence.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! Actually able to spend some time outside with the dogs this afternoon until hawks started circling the neighborhood. That’s when we go back inside.

Obviously no shinys for me for awhile since I think I’ve used up all my settlement but never say never!!!

I have been buying a few backup Zeus originals and Xs because they seem to be the only RTAs I actually like almost as much as most RDAs. But that doesn’t count as shiny. I don’t think so anyways lol!

Hope everyone is well. Will be finding out I’d i need thumb mini surgery this week. It’s been a huge bummer not being able to hold my iPad or iPhone very long to text.

Enjoy your shinys!!!

So I hit my critical number of batteries that need rewrapping and realized I can't find my hair dryer. I don't dry my hair but know I have one. I figure it must be in a box in storage and the idea of trekking over to rummage through boxes for it was too much effort. Went for a small heat gun on Amazon. As long as I was there I picked up some micro mesh pads, some edging tape, and some polish for the the Luna should I decide to shine it up ( thanks @Fidola13 for the tips to polish it up in your stabwoods thread I just ran through). Between the pads, polish and tape it's close to the cost of the Luna itself.

Fidola, I'm not going to do a full disassembly if I decide to polish it, so any tips on protecting the button? The edging is straightforward, but the button seems a little problematic. Maybe it'll be clearer once in hand.

I just covered it with a small round bandage thingy. Worked out great.

It must be a nice day all over, as slow as this thread is today.

@Fidola13 good luck with that thumb! This has been really dragging on for you, hope you get it resolved soon.

Thanks so much. I’m just really grateful it’s not my right or dominant hand.

Are the tops and decks of the 3 hole X and mtl X cross-compatible? It's been bugging me for a few days whether they are or not. You have the means to experiment for me

I did not expect that photo of you. Is that your 3rd grade school pic?
You and your purple glasses ...;)... and purple bow.
I'm still looking for the proper 1 of 1 purple Luna.

Ok back to business then... next refill I will conduct extensive experiments and report back.
In the meantime I must try my fancy new pod mod... :p

No knocked up animal at my SIL’s mom’s house for the grandbaby’s first birthday party... but I got to visit the chickens and donkey, and came home with a couple dozen “yard” eggs (yummmm). The Smok owning 30 somethings were fascinated with the colossal, and I had a frustrating ten minutes getting it out of temp control and wattage reset after one managed to get all akimbo . Several referrals to vapor range after I pointed out my one asmodus long outlasted several more expensive, crappy replacements of their mods. No takers on RTAs, surprisingly, since several work with electric or instruments etc. Heaven knows if I can manage to coil and wick, anyone can. Really.

Hey all, hope everyone's having the shiniest of Saturdays. Nothing much to report here other than the usual boatload of juice I have on the way.

I'm getting all alchemical tonight. That Axial has flavor for days. Oh, I did order some Molicel P26As to see how they stack up against my Samsung 20S. I'm pretty spoiled by the 20S. 25Rs and VTC5s just don't cut it for me anymore. Vape people problems? Vape people problems.
