That IS gorgeous.
What are the AF options like with their rda?

I love the AF on this rda. The top of the cap spins to adjust it, rather than the whole cap, which means I never accidentally crank the deck down too hard on the mod, or loosen it.

It goes from big fabulous air to moderate, to a wee bit restricted. Very quiet on every setting.

Here’s where I got it, and I’m glad I jumped on it when I did as it’s now sold out. But I highly recommend this site and they do have other awesome shinies.

When I first saw the photos I thought they looked like cows, but you raise sheep, so they must be some special breed of funny looking sheep. Now I found out I was right the first time ,and they are cows!

This is what growing up in the city does to you..

I was born in the city and moved to the country when I was 8.

I was thrilled with all the critters. Cows! Goats! Horses! Groundhogs!

Until the first time I saw an opossum. I thought it was the biggest rat ever. Screamed blue bloody murder.

morning all.
a return to work after a spell isn't helped by most of the people who should be supplying data in order for there to be a catch up being off sick.
getting a decent vape with the BB and insider. using it as my seabeedee nightcap setup at the moment but the north bridge and nord coils should be arriving soon from naturevape. nice guy, Mark. not sure if any of you have bought from them. prices are obviously higher than on east but sometimes i just pay for the service and speedy arrival...much like ecigone (who still have 20% off all month with 20OFF). i won't be putting a battery in it again without a ribbon. tight doesn't cover it. nearly gave myself an electric shock prising it out with a spudger
sould be plenty of vape mail tomorrow including the cold steel 100 and the hastur mini.
buybest have said they'll give me a refund in 1-2 days. fingers crossed etc.
Yes...Naturevape and ecigone both great online shops. Glad you are settling down with the BB :)

my billet box is seemingly gubbed. no response to any button presses. was fine last night. no leakage. works ok when connected to escribe and i can fire it but disconnect it again? nothing. tried resetting it via escribe also. ****.
Check the wraps on the battery....I have a battery which won't work in my BB's and I think its due to a slightly thick wrap at the ends.

My to get list includes a Drone 250c squank, the Rebel dna dual squonk looks nice too but with the drone around I can’t justify that price. It looks like the Drone is disappearing. I’m in panic mode about the supply of mods getting cut off before I can get some for the future and I don’t know the market well enough to know which ones will last me forever.:|

Does anyone have any recommendation on where to get some extra thick battery wraps, for 18650’s? I have some Sonys that need better skins. Also has anyone ever heard of double wrapping a battery?

@Zazie Your right, I think the Chinese are all in Paris but I did my good deed. There is at least one young Chinese father who doesn't have Italian gelato all over his trousers :D I asked him if he good get back quickly as he needed to post my latest FT order :pervy:

Seriously though really great to see my Sis and Monet's lilies. The air bnb was a lovely apartment in the 3rd arrondissement so fab location and really relaxing after the hectic days...

My humble opinion on mod buying...

A lot of them won’t last forever. But need they? I don’t think so. If their specs suit me for now, that’s good enough.

I do check reviews and listen to advice here, to avoid problem gear. Mostly I’ve had good luck.

Most of my mods seem well made and should work for a few years. If each of them lasted two years I’d be set till I’m about 140 years old.

If you see something interesting, check into it and grab it while you can. They just stop making stuff so suddenly. One minute it’s everywhere, the next there are none to be had.

And my humble opinion on battery wraps - I believe some are thicker than others, because there are some batteries that won’t fit into certain mods. I don’t think double wrapping is the solution as that would probably make them too fat for most mods.

For me, I’m just very gentle with batteries and I replace them when there’s any damage. I have a couple with torn wraps that I haven’t bothered rewearing yet, but they’re a couple years old and I may just pitch them.

Hi @Dr. Seuss :)

With mods if you're talking about the future then good mechanicals are what most of us have in case something really bad happens in the legislation for ecigs. Not much you couldn't repair yourself on a mech. Otherwise, listen here or ask here about any purchase you are considering as you'll be reassured. There are also the brands that generally have good reputations and the chip which do too.

Double wrapping is not really advised as @DeloresRose pointed out but I know that some buy the clear wraps and insert their own designs underneath so that is a kind of double wrap. A lot of the recommended battery suppliers will either give out wraps with their batteries or have some to purchase....these are always good quality.

Good luck :D

EDIT:- Get the drone....fab mod :D

I picked up some Hohm Life batteries from the vape shop in a pinch and they have nice thick wraps, they feel really durable. I was thinking if I could find some like that I’d rewrap my Sonys. Those Sonys are pretty thin.

As mods go so far I get good feels about Vaporesso, I have one going on two years without a hitch. The Drones seem to have a pretty good reputation. The mechs have crossed my mind for the simple fact that like you said they’re about as bare bones as it gets and could rather easily be repaired (plus I’ve seen some really nice ones around) but I just don’t sit well with the thought that I’ll not make some sort of mistake. I get ohms law, physical safety etc, but there’s still some doubt in there. It may be worthwhile grabbing one just to stash it so the option is at least there should things change down the road.

I need to find the VW bug of regulated mods, that one that just lasts forever.
