Haven't used much other than a pod for about 6-8 months. I do miss it but have become a bit lazy. Seriously got tired of rebuilding, rewicking, general upkeep.

All of my mods are sitting in a container somewhere. Wife has been pushing to get rid of them, can't bring myself to do it.

Have a Nord or 2, Breeze 2 or 2, lost vape whatever it was or 2, this Voopoo thing. I hate drop in coils as an expense but it is what it is. Just easier to carry on a daily basis.

I seem to be OCD the older I get. Finished the Home Theater, moved on to obtaining a better laptop. These things took away from chasing the latest mods.
I know what you mean...I have too many mods as well and my latest thinking is to try and display the best of them and also to display them to show the historical changes that happen from when I started. I could never throw them away....don't let your wife throw yours either :)

I like my pods also but I only use them when I need a stealthy vape or sometimes a pop to the shops. I have several like you and my favourite is the new Voopoo which i've forgotten the name of too :) It has the same sort of format as the Nord and it's the first pod i've tried that has the exact draw that I like...

I seem to leave things and styles and then come back to them years later so for me vaping is a never ending journey of discovery....I suppose it has to end somewhere though :D

Good morning shiners! Happy Sunday. That ridiculously low priced RAM should arrive tomorrow and am having great fun with the bargain AD Crea. So I'm happy today.

What did you think of the movie (if you saw it)?

As with most film adaptations, my personal opinion is I hated it.

My wife doesn't want to toss the stuff, she sees the value in them. She believes I should take them to the local shop and sell them off. The guys there were interested at one time. Some of it may be decent. Therion, B2K, Drops, Dot (doubt i'd ever get rid of the Dot though) and others I've forgotten. I lack the motivation though.

Pods suit me. My #1 goal is to get nic and carry as little as possible. I suppose I could have one of the mods for use at home. Wouldn't need to rebuild as often and could extend use of the pods coils.

i'm under 5 minutes on cleaning the tank building a round wire coil working the hot spots & wicking with just the light of my laptop.Might also be time to use that lighter on your new battery wraps.:)

You just illustrated just how lazy I've become with vaping.
Spending my time getting to know Mac OS, playing with new toys.

(I'm sure you've noticed I'm just searching for excuses at this point)

I bought a used Dell from work. Perfect machine, somewhat current specs. Decided to upgrade it to Win 10, and that began my trek to Mac.

I used to build PCs for gaming back in the day, have a decent knowledge of getting around Windows and it's hardware. This computer had me creating cuss words that made even me blush a bit. Ended up with a non-functioning laptop. Vaping related, I also managed to kill a coil while endlessly cussing at the machine.

My experience with Mac is dated, and limited to a G3 tower. It worked. Everything I needed worked. When it broke, all I had to do was replace the broken part. Figured I'd do the same with a laptop. Got a tremendous deal on an older Macbook Pro. SSD, maxed Ram, added another SSD (who needs optical drives now?) and it's pure bliss to use.

However I'm expecting issues. Never underestimate the determination of stupidity. Specifically my stupidity.

Have you thought of the classifieds here? Folks still visit it. But it does mean trips to the post office which may be time consuming.

I used to build and tinker with PCs years ago as well, that was a blast and I do miss it. After that it was audio electronics. Maybe I need to start building mods. I have some copper pipe.....

Ah the dot, i would still be using one of mine if it were 21700 capable....

The good ole days lol.

I hear great things about the new ipv v3 mini auto squonk as a AIO. Maybe we can get a few shiny juices flowing again....

I've thought about listing here, but I've been putting it off.
Have recently been buying and selling electronics. The running around, packaging, listing and dealing with hagglers and potential scams have really given me pause.

Plus, if I sell them, I'll miss them.

I've been dealing with audio/video for the past few months as well. Built and acceptable Home Theater system. Not difficult given where I work. Finally mostly happy.

Once thought about building my own mod. Chickened out.

The Dot still has a very special place in my heart. Just not enough to go to it right now. Would like one with a 21700, that would make it near perfect.

After the recent TV purchase, macbook purchase, wife has put me on hold for a bit. Can't say I blame her.

As we speak i'm trying to make up my mind on the best desktop to buy after years of using laptops. I finally settled on an XPS system by Dell as all the info seemed to be saying that windows was better for photoshop etc. Obviously with the right spec though.

I haven't actually done it yet because I keep prevaricating about my choice. Mac's, for a long time were the best for all those graphics applications but also i've always had windows so didn't want a huge op system learning curve and as i say they seem to be falling behind again...

It certainly seems though that the question to ask is will it run photoshop fast. If it will you've pretty much got yourself a good computer :)

Good morning Charlie. I don't know what your needs are besides Photoshop, but I have a few suggestions for the configuration of your new desktop. Photoshop can be pretty system intensive depending on what you're doing with it. If you are just doing some light photo editing, you don't need the highest specs for the puter. If you are doing anything graphics intensive, that will change. I would get at least an i5 processor, with 8 gigs of ram, and an ssd to at least put the OS on. If it was me, I like to future proof my computers and put at least a quad core i7, with 16 gigs of ram, a dedicated graphics card(doesn't have to be a gaming card, but at least something like an Nvidia GTX 1060 or 1070), and a terabyte ssd so all programs can run on the ssd, and have plenty of fast storage. You can either put an extra hd in for extra storage , or just use an external hd if you need it. I would not order the puter with all the upgrades, because they charge way too much. Just get the lowest price/spec option they have available. With a desktop, it's easy to upgrade the ram on your own, as well as swapping out the HD for an SSD. I am a photographer as well as a Realtor, and do a lot of photo and video editing on my machine, and I want it to run fast, hard, and as smooth as butter for years to come. You probably know all this already, and it's just

, and ymmv, but I hope this helps. Hope you have a wonderful shiny day

Happy Sunday, shinies <3

I think I've satiated my series mod wanderlust. I ordered an extension tube for my MDX yesterday and I'm already planning the build that will go on it. I got off easy, too. Had my finger on the trigger for a ....... V2 kit that I really don't need and would probably rarely use due to its lack of versatility. Aside from the unique engraving, an extension tube essentially makes my MDX a ....... V2. That engraving is pretty cool though... Might just get one anyway but not today :D

E - "Bas-tard" is censored, hah.
