I agree. Reading and what you read does say a lot. Also says a lot if a person is capable of being single and being alone. I have friends who are with someone just to not be alone and I more admire someone that waits for either the right person or goes it alone. Politics matters to me. Religion matters a bit, as long as they are a believer, its all good.
I dated a gut once that turned in a perfectly good blazer for a Hyundai. Nothing against Hyundai's in case anyone here has one, but the relationship fizzled after that and I am sure that had something to do with it. My husband (2nd) on the other hand, did not really have fine things, fresh from his first marriage and supporting kids, he could not afford much. But he did not buy shoes at Walmart or Kmart and that mattered to me. His shoes were not brand new and he did not have a lot of them but he knew about finer things versus garbage.
Also must MUST have some degree of knowledge about how to fix things. At least how to use a tool. Also dated a man once that had no tools and did not know how to use them. Nah, no thanks.

Exactly. I have my code that I live by. I am doing just fine by myself, it seems, much to everyone’s surprise.

Better to be alone than to feel hopeless unless you have someone.

The dress code out here in sticksville is very relaxed. Everyone I know wears jeans and t shirts. That’s fine with me. We all get dirty, we all clean up. What I can’t stand is people out in public in pajama pants. Stay home if you’re too lazy to dress. And people who don’t bother to bathe. Yuck.

Mostly people here don’t do that. Also most of the guys are at least a little mechanical. I couldn’t bear to be the more handy person in a couple.

For me the difficulty is going to be that everyone likes to hang around in bars - not my thing at all - and nobody reads, and they don’t seem interested in learning anything. I’m constantly learning new things.

A lot of them want to go gambling ... I want to drag my 90lb camera to the marsh.

Kinda feel lost around here anymore. Have gone from buying everything in sight to a new pod device here and there. A lot of stuff put away, even more lost when we moved in December. I'm not quite that shiny anymore.
You don't need to be shiny here, we're family. I am having a hard time imagining the original squonk king with a pod though.:)

Ha ha! Bold goes away in a new post. Problem fixed.
To get the 20% discount, you have to put your state and zip in first for shipping, then put in the coupon. Won’t take it otherwise
Where Mel?

That's exactly where i'm at. I've got 4 big draws filled with stuff. Table top overflowing and two cupboards that houses the stashed stuff. I basically ran out of space to store stuff I don't use anymore. I spent at least $10 000 already..and i'm only vaping for 2 1/2 years now. Its rediculious.
I'm lately trying to shift my focus to finding ADV juices. Never found one since I started....I know, i'm extremely picky and full of shyte.

i'm also extremely picky and full of shyte when it comes to ejuice  I could vape anything for the first 6 months - if it was sweet & minty but then I grew back taste buds ;)

I'm getting there, got 3 firm favourite ADV mixes so far and finding more is half the fun :thumb:
