Good morning shiners! Nothing new around here other than another humid hot day. Fingers still aching after polishing up that RAM, and it looks like I sanded off part of my thumbprint in the process. Good thing I have other fingers registered for touch logins.
Believe it or not hand sanding is a thing....just the action of rubbing your hands over something helps the finish. Think of those statues you see that are all shiny where people touch them in the same place.
I must say shiny polish finishes is a very worthy topic for this thread

Why I stopped buying gear from asMODus over 3 years ago... as well as the poor CS and far too many lies when I did buy direct from their US warehouse.
That said I got good use of the TC mods I did buy from them with no failures of any kind right up until I retired all of them.
Man you leave for a day or two....

Thanks for the link @DeloresRose, I just grabbed a nice looking green Ram for $12.99 with shipping!
I’ve had good experiences with their CS. My emails and questions get a fast response. I’ve had pretty good luck with their mods. And the ones that had issues, they resolved to my satisfaction.
But all my experience has been in the last year, plus a couple months. So I can’t speak for anything prior to that.

Well, for the benefit of all you LUNAtics buying from them now I'm glad to hear they finally got their act together.
They were a zoo to deal with back in the days I bought from them. Their extra $250 greed on that standard Kodama that didn't cost them anymore than the other one in materials or labor to produce just because it "looked" a little bit better was the last straw for me. I had an order in for a white Minikin 150W to go with my black one and Limited Edition Minikin VGOD 120W that they had delayed multiple times , so I cancelled it.

Good price. I went with a US vendor for $6.50. With $5 shipping it was $11.50. But that $14.99 is still an excellent buy. I'm really happy with it even with the effort of polishing it myself.
Wow. They raised the price to $7.99.
It can be as easy as just getting a P67 repair kit that contains many of the expendable parts. And maybe small parts that can easily be dropped and lost... maybe an adjustable 510 screw, a spring screw, maybe a door magnet (they have been known to fall out), a spare bottle or two.
I bought 37 Reos. But my 5 P67's are my favorite Reos of all of them and the only ones I still use (all the rest are retired).

I bought one ram for $14.99 from FT, it’s not here yet, but after getting those two for $6.50 I’m not sorry I did. $28 for three mods the way I see it is still a heck of a deal.

The Boost ( regular, not stab) is the oldest AsMODus I have, and my least favorite. So I can totally understand if you’re not a fan, if that’s where you stopped buying their stuff.
Seems like they do try to address weaknesses though, not just make a different look with each new mod.
I don’t care how many red Xs I get for saying this but... the VA Primo was an aspirational mod for me. And I can’t say one bad thing about it, stunning to look at, fabulous in the hand, a lovely vape. And yet I still look at it and think, how many Colossals could I have bought instead?
