Good price. I went with a US vendor for $6.50. With $5 shipping it was $11.50. But that $14.99 is still an excellent buy. I'm really happy with it even with the effort of polishing it myself.

Wow. They raised the price to $7.99. ;)
Well it was your pic that decided me and I do like a bit of polished resin. You got a really good deal. I'm happy with my pricing too but I have to say it makes you wonder how much mark up they put on these vape items in the first place :)

And yet I still look at it and think, how many Colossals could I have bought instead?
That's just sensible. We didn't get to be able to buy these kind of things by throwing money away without thinking :)

Ultimately my problem is that I think is this mod really worth that much in terms of the work that went in beautiful though these mods are or is it a real profiteering mark up. When is too much too much??

Only we can answer as individuals :)

Why I stopped buying gear from asMODus over 3 years ago... as well as the poor CS and far too many lies when I did buy direct from their US warehouse.

View attachment 833657

That said I got good use of the TC mods I did buy from them with no failures of any kind right up until I retired all of them.
I've had nothing but the best Customer Service from asMODus. Awesome in fact.

True Lies was a funny movie though.

I’ve had good experiences with their CS. My emails and questions get a fast response. I’ve had pretty good luck with their mods. And the ones that had issues, they resolved to my satisfaction.

But all my experience has been in the last year, plus a couple months. So I can’t speak for anything prior to that.
My EXACT experience too.

asMODus IS a GREAT company.

It can be as easy as just getting a P67 repair kit that contains many of the expendable parts. And maybe small parts that can easily be dropped and lost... maybe an adjustable 510 screw, a spring screw, maybe a door magnet (they have been known to fall out), a spare bottle or two.

I bought 37 Reos. But my 5 P67's are my favorite Reos of all of them and the only ones I still use (all the rest are retired).

Thank you! There are so many little doo-dads, I was at a loss.

The repair kit comes with a 6ml bottle, feed tube, cap with o-ring, metal spring, P67 positive contact, P67 push button, and P67 strike plate. I put two of them in my cart last night. I've now added the other things you mentioned as well. I hope I never need any of them

Hey guys. Just another day at the office. No shiny right now, unless flavors count (Zeppola). :)
I need to start thinking about replacing my Pico, the spring under the pin seems to have given up :(.
That's always been the weak point on the pico's the 510 pin maybe you can pull it back up again.....but all good things come to an end or so they say :)

Imo flavours do count especially Flavourart ones. How are you finding Zeppola? I have Queen which I like but have heard good things about zeppola too. I love flavourart the best out of all the flavour companies ......though they all have their place for sure :)

I've had the thing for quite a while now, it's totally scarred up and used to the point where the copper is showing through the cap and base; thinking about getting a wrap for it. Still works fine, though, I feel if I mess with it I'll be sorry :-x.

As for the Zeppola, it's just in my cart waiting for check out. That and some LB Vanilla Ice Cream. I found I'm not too fond of the spiciness of TPA.

Direct Vapor has the Eleaf iStick Pico 75w for $25.95. With the Labor Day sales and you will likely be able to get them cheaper from there or others. Last time I bought a couple from them they were on sale for like $22 or $23.

Those PEEK inserts go for twenty-two bucks, though!
P67 ($112.50) and looking at the Grand LP ($77.50).
$35 savings with the Grand LP vs the P67 and LP parts are lower.
I really like the P67 but now I'm leaning towards the Grand LP.
The full kit for the P67 is pricey and the PEEK inserts too.

I looked at the Grand first, but the P67 looked so much more comfortable to hold and fire, I decided, since this will be it for Reos and me, to get what I wanted instead of what was more sensible.

No you can gently pry the 510 pin up without doing any harm. They have a tendency to get stuck down with atties that have a long 510 and then you get a no atty message. Just be gentle and it'll be fine :)

Those guys seem to be out of stock, but good call on holding out for Labor Day, I'm starting to feel the shiny triggering now. Thanks. :toast:

I've pried those pins out a few times without any problems. Now I use spacer washers to avoid pushing them down so far. Get some 0.5mm and 1.0mm. Whatever thickness where you can still get a good connection. Haven't had any problems since I started doing that.
