My Lovely Luna got to the airport at 3:25 this afternoon
Now just has to clear through my friends at customs and I shall Squeeze in no time!
And the Galaxies RDTA has only been freshly built, just in time for the occasion

I'm so glad your Luna has finally landed, and I hope you get to play with it ASAP. I'm absolutely loving mine

Meet the Squeeze 2 - next to the Luna so you can see the size differences.

As a 21700 8ml regulated squonk mod, I'm impressed with it. It's heavier and wider than a Luna, but it is also extremely comfy to hold, fire and squonk. With my small hands, the fire button position is perfect. But if I wasn't used to side firing, it would feel weird til I got used to it.

Keep in mind I've only used it for half a day. As soon as my Hussar v1 RDAs turn up, I'll put it through its paces.

I got it for a rediculous $23.99 at Vapesourcing. They still have some red and purple ones left at that price if anyone wants some stash mods

I know payback is a b---itch ... and I deserve it.
I see the Pico Squeeze works with Arctic Fox, nice. Did you put AF on it and are you squonking in TC yet?

I got my first red X and from @AngeNZ or Luna the cat ... I never got one before. I love it!!!
I am truly honored.

I feel special now.
Though I will not be giving up one of my favorite mods.

Yes I did Sara just a bit further back

Here it is again.... Start at 220 grit and sand the side and including the painted SS. Do that until you've got all the paint off and all the deeper marks on the wood. Then it's just a mater of going up through the grits until you're up at 10000 or so... Then finish with a buffing wheel.

Quick question for everyone that got one from Sourcemore. Did yours come with extra earth magnets? Mine came with an extra 510 pin but no extra earth magnets.

There’s not many reviews on it. I found 1 in English, 1 in Russian? And 1 in Japanese. It seems that the ones who received 2-4 years ago had the extra magnets but the most recent Japanese review only contained the extra 510 pin.

Yep there should be extra magnets in there....I'd contact sourcemore if I were you.

Those Lunas sure are beautiful! I'm not a frequent squonker and prefer regulateds but they are still tempting!

Question for you. On your red Luna you posted in the photo of the day did you sand and polish it? It really looks super shiny and stunning. The colors pop brilliantly on yours.

Everyone sanding and polishing theirs is making me feel like a serious slouch. I need to read up and get going. Although from what @charlie1465 posted I should start with 200 and move up to 10000 grit. Charlie didn't you say you used your drill and velcro padded sanders on your Luna versus hand sanding?

I thought I saved all the info somewhere, hmmm. I'm pretty sure @Fidola13 said all this info is in the stabwoods thread too. I need to head over there...

Thanks. I know, right? Some of the Luna's I've seen, like @AngeNZ 's most recently, could have easily been a 1 of 1 too. I know there are more I just don't remember. This is my only purple mod. I love purple so I just ordered another before they run out. Then I am DONE stocking up on Luna's. I have enough.
They are my favorite squonker besides the Pulse and VAMP.

I haven’t polished any of mine, and I don’t really plan to. I might, someday, but I doubt it. So don’t feel bad.

There are a few that I am going to leave as is cause they look perfect to me. That weathered kind of look I guess I would say.

Yeah, I did a relatively fast sanding/meshing by hand. I believe I started with 320, then 400, then went through the micro-mesh pads: 1500-12000 (1500 micro-mesh is roughly equivalent to 400 standard sandpaper grit I think, and 4000 micro-mesh is equal to 1500 standard sandpaper). A bit of oil before and/or after sanding (many recommend butchers block oil, but I used coconut oil) will deepen the colors, and then buff in a light rubbing of conservator's wax (or renaissance wax, depending where you are).

WoW i've been using sandpaper all my life. I didn't even know there's a 10000 grit available. I still use 2000 daily for removing scratches from car panels. I used to make knives back in the day and never found the need to go beyond 1500 grit. From 1500 to buff ensured that mirror finish on the wood and steel.
