Good morning shiners! Happy Labor Day to those it means something more than another sale, it's another day off (if you work, if not hopefully a BBQ).

@charlie1465 I have been lurking in the BB thread for some time. If I had a valid need for one, like a full time job and wanted something as a small daily setup, I'd likely get one an fall down the rabbit hole with the rest of you. Fortunately it's fun to read about, and as I have no drive to get one, I get to watch people spend so much money on such little things.

luna 2 has passed tests with flying colors, so it's time to plan out my refinishing the wood. After Luna 1 and then the RAM I feel more comfy tackling another polishing job.

The BB has got to be the biggest rabbit hole in the vaping world....there are just so many accessories and pretty things They're like Iphones....a must have.

I'm going to polish another Luna today if I can pull myself together.....JFDI as they say

I got my E fun order straightened out. They don’t think they’re getting any more Recurve singles in. Those are showing OOS at all my usual haunts, so I got a couple in whatever color they had left wherever I could find them. Sad. Great little rda.

And I let E fun change my order to duals, they’re a little more, so they sent me an invoice. Paid and ready to ship.

I’ll say this, they did try to get me sorted. Replied quickly and clearly to every email. Plus one for that customer service.

I'm waiting with interest to see if my Hong Kong package makes it out of the airport. It was shut down again by demonstrators yesterday. I'm exited to have so much stuff on the way but as you know guys.. For us exciting is the new normal

How are things? How are the lungs ? If your doctor is anything like mine you'll now be inhaling at least 3 different meds per day... It's a pain but it is helping so they tell me.

@Eskie if you head over to the SXK BB thread you'll see a picture of the switch mechanism on the BB. I wouldn't mind betting that the Luna fire button switch is exactly the same. It's easy to see how juice ingress could cause an auto fire situation...

I'm doing good.. just one maintenance inhaler is all I'm on.. but it seems all I need and is helpful I think..

I'm back to vaping with nicotine, just 3mg but been a little stressed so yeah for vaping! haha..

I'm worried about telling my doctor.. haha I think he might get one of those judgmental looks since I've been doing so well. lol

but all in all, all is well.

I'm having a baking day today. I'm making a dozen homemade rolls for each of the people on my husband's team, since tommorow is their last day, so I'm up to my elbows in bread dough atm.. lol..

Since it's their favorite thing we thought it would be something nice for everyone, and I'm going to make some sweets for everyone to eat also on their last day there.. cookies I think..

It's bitter sweet, we love them all.. but we will see everyone here and there in town and such.

So I spent some quality Luna time and am happy with my end result. The finish feels super smooth ans a nice satin low gloss look, I wasn't going for (or could really achieve with what I have) a mirror finish. The best part is it's still working just fine. I have these before and after photos, but it's hard to capture the surface difference in these phone photos, so use your imagination.

I think the colors certainly pop more, and there are some soft reflections in person. And the more I handle it with a chamois the better the buff will come out.

All in all I'm happy. Now for a black atty with a dark green DT.

I didn’t go up to see Mom yesterday as everyone else was going. Her IV blew, and they were waiting for a doctor to come install a PICC line for her antibiotics. I was told that was done and it went okay.

I was going to go up today, didn’t sleep well last night and only woke up about 9 am, and Georgia has been sick all day. I’ll see if she feels better, and maybe then I’ll go up.

It’s just been really stressful. The drive over wouldn’t be horrible except the highway is down to one lane. Which even that I could cope with, but getting off those ramps merging into one lane when I can’t really see around the barrels is terrifying for me. I hope we can move her closer soon. I’m almost out of Xanax.

What a knock out!!! When things calm down here, I’m gonna polish one and see how it goes. This one is pretty as is but I bet it would be crazy good with a shine. I like the Blanks, Bunkers, Recurves, but I also have a dead rabbit, a Bonza and an elder dragon that work nicely on it.

That'll polish up beautifully. With the resin pop and that great blue, it'll be amazing.

I always thought about that elder dragon. It looks weird, but there's something tempting about it. I worry about a whoosh effect the way the airflow is directed..
