Oh, and a question to @classwife , or anyone else who knows, what's an affiliate code, and am I displaying true ignorance by even having to ask? The codes I gave were all from emails they sent out. Those are OK, right?

The Affiliate Codes/Share Codes are the ones given to you by a supplier to spread around and you get credits or $ for them. So...lol...nope, those codes given to you are not shareable here.
Also, those email codes usually have trackers that the company can monitor their usage.

Watched that Doomsday Prepper series on Netflicks, those people are either scripted actors or they have some serious mental issues...

If it comes down to surviving in a bunker with 5,000 of dried beans and rice, drinking swimming pool water, and needing a machine gun and armored car, just count me out. I panic when I get a hole in my rubber dish washing gloves. Life’s hard enough now. I’ve often said if Davis-Bessie went, I’d be the person they show on the news footage going toward the melt down.

Exactly, the old guy and his wife in the RV was the worst, how far do you think you would actually get in that thing.

I have that one. Ejuices sent me that color by accident. No big deal. It's grown on me and I like it. When I first saw the colors I immediately was reminded of some Grateful Dead t-shirts I have. That and @Vape Muppet has been telling me to add some COLOR to my life (thx VM). Color brightens ones Life.

I saw at the GV web site they have spare parts for the Solo (and others). I will be placing a spare parts order for stash. I feel like a prepping warrior with what Big Brother gov't is doing. Reminds me of the show that used to be on NatGeo "Doomsday Preppers".

I think you made a great choice. The rainbow finish is simply one of the best. And yes there's nothing wrong with colour so you've made outstanding progress, although I admit I had a taste for black for far too many years, but the less said about that the better. :D

Thanks all on your best wishes. We know the problem, found out when was in the hospital about 6 weeks ago. It's a fairly rare problem, which is typical for this family. Nothing can ever be run of the mill. It always has to be "wow, we only read about this and now get to see it!" (which calls for an immediate change to another doc who has seen it many times and is bored with it). She has been doing OK but he's concerned her symptoms haven't improved more so time for another peek. At least it's outpatient and not in hospital like last time when she was throwing up blood, but it still means dad takes her to and from it.

@ShowMeTwice thanks for the offer! If I get lost poking my way through, I'll PM you on where to send the parts. Based on the sequence of events, I'm leaning towards it's the switch and a little orange oil wax worked its way in there. Given it's probation status, if I get in and the switch and contacts all look clean, I'll be more confident at letting it enter service. If it looks funky, I'll clean as best I can. If it looks like a wiring or board issue, I may take you up on it, as I don't have a soldering iron, and even if I did it's been a long time. I hope I can get a decent look around without having to unsolder anything because then I'll be stuck. But knowing I now have one that works makes me feel much more confident about tearing the first one down because whatever the outcome, I have the new one to vape with.

Oh, and thanks all on the LED light tip. So I know to just go by vape like any other mech/unregulated setup and not look for battery capacity with it. I sure would never vape a battery down to 3.3V. Can't see how even with my undemanding builds I would even get a puff of vapor at that voltage. The only times I've ever had a battery get below 3.5V on me have been in regulated mods. With a mech I'm done by 3.7 maybe 3.6V, and as a 7 ml bottle lasts me all day, I usually find myself pulling the battery at the end of the day for recharging at 3.8V or up. Makes for nice fast charge times even without a rapid charger.
Some pics I posted a while back that may be of help to you.

After removing the 2 top screws. Those connect to 2 FF standoffs that run the height of the Luna and are connected to the 2 screws on the bottom plate. You might have to use a driver to hold the bottom ones in place once you try putting the top piece back on. On one of mine the standoff just rotated in place until I figured out what was happening.

Fire switch is on the lower right of this photo. You can easily remove the 510 squonk assy from the Luna to get in and have a good look/see. The solder connections on mine are excellent.

The chipset is held in place with 2 screws.

Hope that helps. :D

They still are selling PINK Colossals if you need more brightening ;)
I grabbed the last grey Colossal at Element Vapes yesterday and it already shipped out. I tried to get 3 at the price of $24.95 but they only had 1 grey left. :rickroll:

You can never go wrong with black, works with everything.

Unless it's a black top and dandruff. That's not good.

OMG I bought so much and I'm like still fine, money wise. I even like, went on line and tried to pay off some of my consolidated credit card debt early. They do not make the instructions REMOTELY clear. I am going to have to call.

I tried to buy more snus but it was too freaking confusing and annoying. I could not tell whether or not the "all white" stuff in the cans was like, alkaloided or not I mean it's MADE from tobacco (sorta) but ever brand is different. I'mma gonna wait. The black lips are pretty much taken care of. I just don t snus when I'm in a room talking with someone extensively and the nic breaks are probably good for me.

But if the white snus WORKS? I will be a happy lady. Plus I am SICK of shopping. YES! After doing all my flavors (it was a LOT) I was just... Done.

Pink and red are the only ones I don’t have. Oh, and that color changing white-to-pink one. I can’t believe they didn’t make a purple one.

I just ordered the "stunning" red Colossal you were on about. :p
Courtesy of @bigbob2322 posting they're $24.95 at Element, thank you Sir.
I am totally set with Colossal's now. ;)

Me too, I would have loved a purple one. I think I've seen the Minikin 2's in purple.

VERY helpful. Doesn't look bad at all, and thanks for the tip on the rods running through the mod. It's a good way of holding it together rather than relying on screws into the wood.

It all looks accessible and pretty clean work judging by yours. The switch is accessible for inspection and beyond that there's not much to troubleshoot. Couldn't quite make out where the LED is but easier in person. I'm honestly not expecting to see anything in there unless it's a gloppy look from contamination. There's no way to really test the board so if it looks clean it looks clean. Wouldn't mind sealing the board as long as I have it apart. It looks like the only way it could get wet would be from the outside of the 510 coming out the side of the nut holding it in place, which seems unlikely, but if I'm there, why not?
