Just popping in to say hi. The family is in town for Mom’s service tomorrow. I’m exhausted already. Not up for a five day circus at all. Rudy was having trouble breathing yesterday, so I will have to keep the socializing to a minimum today, because tomorrow is going to be an all day thing. Fortunately all of it will be close to home so I can check on him. I don’t think anyone else is the animal lover I am, and I was getting a bit of static about it, but I said, loud enough for all to hear, I am not going to lose my dog on the day I bury my mother. That’s just too much to bear.

Delores well obviously missed this. I'm so sorry to hear that your mother has passed away.

You must be really stressed with all the prep the funeral involves. I know it will be a joint effort as I think I'm right in thinking you have family quite close so I hope that that is making things a bit more bearable.

Sorry to hear about Rudy too. I know the breed tends to have breathing problems but hey I guess you could have done without it happening at this difficult moment... Maybe he's picking up on all the upset?

To the group:

The day has been hectic and my house became grand central station for a bit, but most of my orders are in!

Fed ex came with nicotine, UPS with batteries and our lovely mail-lady with bottles.

Then, my brother-in-law showed up, quite the surprise with a great BIG cabinet hubby never warned me was coming, so I had to rush around making a spot for it on the fly, without even time to consider where I might like it to be.

I wish he would like, I don't know, tell me in advance of these things instead of making me figure out where I want huge pieces of furniture in 5 seconds flat!

Men.. I swear...

But life is calm again, and I got a few errands ran to boot. I can rest now.. thank goodness!

I think I'm going to get in a Pirate mood here, and watch Captain Jack Sparrow and his merry adventures.. lol

I’m so sorry that you’re sick but glad that it was found so u could start treatments right away. I hope you get some relief quickly and are getting great care from your medical team. I have no idea how the health care is where you live but I hope it’s excellent!!!
