For those that havent heard there was good news on the ban front today.
The courts blocked the new york ban tomorrow. There will be a hearing on the 18th and they have basically asked for proof that flavors are harmful. I think we should celebrate every little victory over the fascist a-holes.
Here is a post from the vta. Also dna sent an email.

Well, I got myself today o_O Anyone besides me ever burn themselves on a coil while building your rebuildable? Got my darn thumb. Ouch!

I put my lips a couple weeks ago right in the red hot coils of my bonza on top of my mech mod. Took the cap off of o juice up then sat it down to do something then picked it up without looking and hit the button as it went to my lips. Wow did that wake me up. Won’t be doing that again it was at 1030 right before bed when it happened. Of course it was my 0.12 ohm coil on my vindicator that goes bright orange in a second when fired. Had burnt lips that looked like a really bad cold sore for over a week. Good thing I haven’t been looking to lock lips with anyone since my girlfriend passed away a year ago.

That's a cool looking mod in your pic. Did you make that?
Thanks! Yeah, I made it several years ago. VV 60w Raptor, 2x18650 and the case was spalted tamarind and ebony. I carried it for a long time until it finally gave up from being dropped too many times. The wood was very thin

That's sad, it looked durable in the pic. I'm really missing vv mods lately.

That's a beauty! I really like what you did above the squonk cutout. It looks great with that curved out. I didn't realize the wood would be think enough to shape like that. What did you use for making that?

These posts are definitely not helping my shinyitis! Nice work, she sure did polish up well. What grit did you take that to, and did you use poly as a topcoat on the resin?

I used a dremel with a sanding drum for the initial shaping, then a drill with sanding disks of increasingly finer grits, and micro-mesh pads. As for thickness, there is a little room to work with (you can gauge it with the bottle out).

So all my "emergency last second" juice arrived. With what I already have it's now about 900 ml, give or take. Vaping 7-8 ml a day I probably won't have to rush setting up for all my DIY. Which is good, as I expect I'll need to rebuy some flavorings that have been sitting for about a year and a half at room temperature. Some should still be good, but I won't know until I bring it all over.

Got my FT package too. Some 510 squonk fill bottles (good thing, those Luna bottles have been making me nuts), one of those cool little brush collections on a ring, and a Flave clone. Really nice looking clone too, very well finished, and it's in the UC Jacuzzi right now. The design sure looks like it will work just great for me. A nice small single coil deck with what looks to be slightly restricted DL wide open. Looking forward to building it, and then deciding what to put it on.

No topcoat --- sanding disks with a drill up to 10,000 grit, and hand rubbed with micro-mesh pads (to 12,000 grit). Sandpaper and micro-mesh grits aren't directly comparable, and the 12,000 micro-mesh is likely larger grit than the 10,000 sandpaper --- but the micro-mesh pads give better control and uniform directionality.
