Right now I'm on imipramine, which I've been on for depression, so it's sorta double duty. It's more sedating than something like Cymbalta, and it hangs around longer, so no ups and downs with a missed dose. It took a long time to figure out which med would work best for me, and in the end I'm on the oldest antidepressant ever made, and which is still considered the gold standard. When it works it works well But is also has the most side effects, so newer drugs are better tolerated and have far less risks associated with them. Having gone through several major episodes, I no longer mess with what works.

It's a little strange, but with all that going on, I never think of myself as a sick person. Just someone with some problems I deal with. If you ask me how I am, you won't here I feel ill. Unless I eat some bad sushi. Then I'm allowed to play the I'm really sick card.
I have tried almost all anti-depressant there are out there. At least the newer ones. I was diagnosed with depression at age 12. It has haunted me all my life. My real mother killed herself so I think it is inherited. My daughter has it too. The thing that helps me the most is Omega 3, and I swear by the Trader Joes ones. If I miss three days of those I am crying about something or other. The Cymbalta was originally given to me for depression and then solved so many other problems I stayed on it. At my age I am no longer allowing the DRs to mess with my Psyche so I just deal with it and refuse to try others

If Cymbalta's working, don't change it. Changing things up if one isn't working is understandable, but if it's working there better be a very, very good reason to switch. I went through the same, and using other meds either weren't as effective, or side effects that weren't acceptable. Twice I've stopped meds after being stable for several years, both times I had recurrences within a year or two. Now I just accept I'm on them indefinitely. And I was better off restarting the same old regime each time than trying out new stuff instead.

Well, I called and he had good reason for being out of touch and putting everything on hold ... he is back in the shop playing catchup and expects to ship first of the week. So, concern has reverted to anticipation ...

I'm glad to see this - you can go back to doing your happy dance in the snow ;)

@Fidola13 - I'm thinking of you and hope everything heals quickly. And you will be amazed how quickly that walker gets thrown out

Do everything your PT says, even when it hurts. I amazed my orthopaedic surgeon with the movement I gained back in my ankle (3 fractures), and that was all due to having an awesome physio and doing her exercises. It also helped that there was :censored: all else I could do - so exercises broke the monotony ;)

I have all 3 of these RDA's, the Wick'd beats the FLVR easily. The Wick'd also totally obsoletes the FLVR with the 3 separate airflow inserts. If it is not too late to change your order, I definitely would. I am just being totally honest and trying to save you time and money. Both of the RDA's are easy to over squonk.

If 1 to 1 factory markings are important to you, the Fasttech Wick'd has no markings. The 3Fvape Wick'd has all the factory markings.

The above two RDA's can't hang with the Flave 22 on flavor. The Flave 22 is an airy little RDA, but can be easily adjusted down to Hadaly and NarDA levels.

I hope that helps, and no feelers were meant to be hurt with this honest opinion.:)

Thank you - it's always good to hear from ppl who've tried them. FT had already shipped the FLVR RDA but you have now given me another two to get next time :D

When I went through my little "I can't move" period I ended up with close to 6 months of inpatient PT. After so long that's how I ended up where I am, which was great because they have PT right on site as well. All the effort was worth it for the end result, even if it sucked doing it. Never underestimate the benefits of good PT. Especially for something like hip surgery. Even if the surgery went perfectly, poor PT will limit all the hard work done in fixing the fracture. I always viewed it as the harder I work today the easier it will be tomorrow.

The wick'd is great. And I'm really impressed with the Flave so far as well. Besides, you can never have too many RDAs.

No you can't and at least these clone RDAs are cheaper than RTAs ;)

I've finally got builds running in my unregulated squonkers that are working so well - I'm getting the dead battery flashing lights :D

Previously I was just pulling the battery when it got anaemic. But I went back to 28ga single wire builds at 0.5ohms. Hits like a truck for the first half an hour  then it settles down to just how I like it

I run a .5 Ohm 3mm 24 ga spaced coil in my unregulated mods. It's easier to stuff rayon in a spaced coil with a beefier wire.

Dam dash vapes really mixes some good tasting juice. This fruit punch mix I got is so fresh and tasting better each day. Easy on coils/cotton too. Gonna have to order some more. It’s thanksgiving weekend for me I got 3 days off. Just got off work not too long ago after another 12 hour day and fell asleep after eating. Think I’m too tired to go to the gym like I had planned so Mabye I’ll just shop dashvapes.

Don’t have any friends so my options are limited hehe thank god

thanks for the feedback. I’m feeling a bit depressed today. The PT evaluator came today and I guess I just thought the recovery would be faster somehow. They’re saying just partial weight bearing from 4-8 weeks depending on the pins and bones attaching.

I can’t do a thing for myself. I need help for just about everything. I can’t even use my body weight to open or close a window or bend over to put the dog food bowl on the floor- really can’t even carry the bowl. So far the only “exercises” are 5 done in bed to keep my muscles from getting too week and not get a dvt.

ugh. Not only that but I got Levi’s ashes back today so all in all it just hasn’t been been a happy couple of weeks. But thanks for thinking of me & the good advice. I really do appreciate it.

    RIP Levi .....

I’ll have to look those up somewhere else, to see what the deck looks like from another angle. Not normally into clamps, but that might be a good idea on this one.

I really dislike clamp style attys although some of my best flavor RDAs use them.

Like the puppy. I always say My pup is all I got. I also have made friends with a bunny rabbit at work who I bring fruit for everyday and he lets me come closer and closer each day. Carrots and bananas are his favourite but he also seems to be liking apples. My dog will eat anything.
