I bought one of those after @DPLongo22 recommended it somewhere. Didn't know it has a dedicated thread. If you find it, would you post a link to it here for me? (I'm feeling lazy.)

I brought a large hair band to secure a shower cap with. Unfortunately......a)I am not tall.... b) the hotel has 10 foot ceilings and .....c) the smoke detector is on the bloody ceiling. The good news is, it’s about 18’ away on the other side of the room from the sitting area and my side of the bed. My escape plan was going to be to turn the shower on hot and leave the bathroom door open to the room, answer door with my head wrapped in a towel. Fortunately, the smoke detector has decided to be friendly so far.

Or just have Himself lift you up, Titanic style, to cover it. Problem solved.

Yes. 21700's are used in Tesla cars (and 18650's), laptops and power tools. I don't see 18650's going anywhere in our lifetimes.

If you hold the vapor in longer there will be less cloud.
But in a pinch you can blow thru cloth or even into your shirt, if its loose cotton etc.

Honestly, in a zlide at 13.5 watts I’m not exactly in line to win a cloud comp lol. I just exhale towards the opposite wall. The conferences are usually at a generic hilton/marriot, but this one is quite chi-chi.... they fall all over themselves getting you what you ask for, so I doubt they’d actually fuss over a smoke alarm. I mean, I heard the housekeeping cart going by and stuck my head out to ask for more coffee. She came back with a selection of coffees and different sugars on a tray for me to pick from. I want to move in, except Im pretty sure Vancouver is going to get colder than I care for pretty soon lol.
