I find the story confusing. Are vape shops going to be exempt to sell mint, menthol and tobacco flavors or exempt to sell all flavors? If it is the former, it means nothing. No vape shop can survive selling mint, menthol and tobacco flavors.

We don't yet know what they will do.. there has been a pause prior to an announcement and some talk, but nothing on the official end of anything outside of canceled meetings with leaders in the vaping industry and advocacy that had been planned to discuss the issue of flavors for adults who love them and how a ban would affect us all.

Until there is official, official word, I think it's just being hopeful - but it's an election year, so perhaps we will continue to get an ear, and some consideration..

I checked that one out but I mostly go for dual coil rda’s.

The Axial is a great choice and quite flexible with airflow options. I build mine with one 3.5 mm coil and it works great. I have a Unicorn from them as well I love, and the flavor is good, better than expected for what it really is, full open it is a cloud machine.

Another overlooked dual coil for flavor is the Reload X clone. Maybe $6 on FT, top air funneled under the coils for the best flavor, like a Kennedy but without the leak issues. The clone is not a 1:1, and according to some users of both the OG and the clone, they somehow got the airflow even better than the OG

Well, that's bewildering. Not knocking Kellyanne, but confusion is not atypical in her statements to the press. I'll believe it when I see it. Who knows, maybe all the calls and tweets had an effect, but the fact is the FDA DOES have jurisdiction over vape shops and vaping, so her comments are as confusing to read as three day old tea leaves.

I think it's intentionally confusing personally, the old talking out of both sides of ones mouth..

I still think they aren't quite sure how to proceed, just throwing this one up to gauge reaction on both sides before deciding..

the problem is there are two absolutely opposing sides on this issue, and much like everything else these days, a middle ground is most difficult to come by..

The facts are still we may end up thrown under the bus to appease the opposing side in order to gain something more important...

OR, they will see us as too large a group to throw under, and we will be appeased and not used as a bargaining chip..

We of course hope for the later, but the fact is how much noise will our opposing counterparts make if a middle ground is attempted..

So now we wait for the soccer mom's next move..

Could be trial balloons, and not finalized. I think they heard more feedback than they thought they would after the first announcement (which was likely a trial balloon). I doubt it'll be finalized more than a day or so before finally being announced. And we won't know until we know.

edit: just noticed that @Opinionated had already said this: "just throwing this one up to gauge reaction on both sides before deciding.." So I guess I have to rate yours agree! :)

Today I achieved a very special accomplishment - hardly ever seen before in Vaping History......

    I oversquonked an RDTA

My poor lil Riviera had juice coming out EVERYWHERE (except my fill port ) :D

Thanks to my lil MacGyver trick:
A 3mm id earring stopper fits perfectly in the fill port

Doesn't help with oversquonking however

    Here's the NarTa RDTA:

    NarTa.jpg

    nartacoil.jpg

    2.5mm id ss316l 0.68mm*0.27mm came out at 0.25ohms

The coil looks puny, but 3mm looked big in it - but I'm going to try 3mm id out tomorrow ;)

Flavour is as good as the Venna and Riviera. Airflow is my perfect draw - which means I will love the NarCa and NarEa RDAs I have coming.

It's a 3ml capacity. I've got my early morning juice in it - so I'll test out it's thirstiness then :D

I've been using mine daily since February and I haven't noticed any decrease in the performance of my batteries. Even if there was some effect, the amount of time I've saved charging would more than make up for it. I can load it up with four 30Ts at half charge or so each and they'll all be at 100% by the time I think to check on them. I've never timed it specifically but it's probably less than an hour and a half for quarter to half charged batteries.

I mainly use mechs, so I usually put my batteries on the charger when they hit around 70% which is when the power output decrease starts to become noticeable. It's less than an hour for sure from there, maybe half an hour or 20 minutes. I've probably never timed it because it's never been enough of an issue to make me feel like I should. Usually, I'll put a battery or two on, get distracted with something and by the time I look again they're done.

Most batteries are around $5-8 each. I've never killed one in the years since I started using 18650s, 20700s and 21700s but if I did, I still think the time savings would be worth it. Also, the charger has a chip that regulates the output based on battery conditions, so there's really minimal worry I'm hurting anything. In a nutshell, I asked myself what my time was worth and concluded that it's worth more than waiting hours for my old D4 to finish topping up my batteries.

Ah I see I like my digicore charger very much I’m glad I got mine and it charges plenty fast for me. I use mechs at home and a regulated jackaroo at work with a 21700 battery that lasts me all day. That one I drain down to 3.2 or so which takes at least 4 hours to charge but I don’t need it again till morning so that’s alright with me. My mechs I run until they hit 3.6 volts sometimes less but they can be pretty quick Mabye 2 -3 hours.

By the way I’m jealous of all your stuff ! I want a purge mod and I’m amazed to see all the stuff you have. I think I got a prettt good little collection going but then I see your stuff and think dam I wish I had that.

I also tried out the ni90 28ga I got from FT today:
    $2.36 Ambrose Vape Ni90 Heating Wire - 28 AWG / 0.32mm dia. / 30ft at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The resistance is higher than what Steam Engine uses for ni90 which is 9.3ohms/meter. This is about 11ohms/meter. So I'm gonna call it ni85 ;)

It is brilliant for my unregulated builds - super fast ramp up, and no resistance increase like ss316l does :thumb:
Can that be used in temp control?

also Would you say that 26 gauge ni90 would be faster ramp up time than my 26 gauge NI80 I use? I use it in mechs I’m just curious if that can be used in temp control as well

Ni80 cannot be used for TC with very few exceptions.

No it's a wattage only material. I'm not sure if it's a faster ramp up, but I have seen some manufacturers of ni90 claim that.

It's perfect for mechs/unregulateds due to having a lower resistance than ni80

Honestly id be more interested if it ran 21700 for the battery life...
    Looks nice though.
Nah 21700 makes a mod to big and bulky for me. I have a few but don't like using them anymore. Higher ohm builds and portability is what i'm after lately ;)
