Rolling Stone has an article on the DC rally. RS says there were "hundreds", hmmm.
The Vaping Industry Is Furious at President Trump — Could it Cost Him the Election?

They also have a link to a recent Gallup poll on vaping in the USA.
What Percentage of Americans Vape?

Some on twitter were saying about 2,500 to 3,000 people attended. I don’t think anyone got a headcount, really, but it looked like a decent crowd in some videos. There were some great speeches.

Ordered 2 more of the MFGs and an acrylic door (it says for v1 only, but so cheap I may as well try and see if it fits). Also 10 more squonk bottles. I haven't even vaped the thing yet, but it feels awesome in hand. I'm so impressed, and at $20/mod? Heck, even if I never need it, a friend might :)

Thanks shinies for the heads-up on these awesome deals! I'm all set on mechs now. Still want another 2-3 regulated squonkers then my stash should be complete and I'll be able to share with those in need.
That V1 door won't fit a V3. I have V1s, V2s and V3s and the V1 and V2 doors are interchangeable but they're too wide for the V3. I suppose you could sand it down. It's about 2mm too wide.

I really do not like the way these polls are done/worded. Vaped within the last week, was it taste someone’s juice or run through a whole pod? Lower among those with higher education, do/did they smoke? If not then not likely to vape either!

Sigh, maybe I should have read further (got irritated) or look at it from a different perspective (lack of higher degree hehe).

apologies, rant over.

Good morning shinies and hoping you're all doing well in your respective home bases

Turns out my mystery review item was the Vinci X so quite pleased as the original is in front of of me right now as I enjoy it a lot. It is a very nice piece of kit. The X will be even better with the external battery as the OG did suffer from quite fast loss of charge after a few weeks..... Review will be out after the testing phase :D

Looking forward to your review, Charlie! I'm a little confused about this Vinci X--this looks more like an AIO than a pod mod with all the added features and adjustable wattage. And very low resistance coils--0.3 and 0.6Ω? I don't think it would be even suitable for nic salts. Any thoughts?

Your Ohmsmium will be stunning, and even better vape stunning

i reminds me of a penguin (once you have an RTA on top) with a big red tummy ;)

Ohmsmium-Kodama-Mod-17T.jpg

Awww... How cute! And expensive. :D A penguin cyclops? ;)

But seriously now--I think it's gorgeous. I wish they made regulated mods in stabilized wood. It's a conversation piece for sure. @Zazie Enjoy!

I think "pod" is just the latest catch phrase, many of the newer ones seem to be more aios or small mods with funny shaped tanks.

Got in some kanthal ribbon wire 0.8mm x 0.2mm ... took 8 wraps at 3mm to get 0.5 ohms, which is ok for my LiFePO4 vapes, but too low (for me) for regular batteries. Not loving this coil, guess I'll need to try some thinner ribbon next time ...

I think the mod is a V2, so that's awesome that they're interchangeable! Those doors look gorgeous!

My daughter fostered GSDs for a rescue before she had her daughter. She had a huge white we were sure was going to be a foster fail when she found out she was pregnant. They’re such great pups. I miss her having them
I’m having a great day! Postlady just delivered my asmodus tribeaut, right in time for me to leave for the dentist. I hated the thought of the package sitting on the porch visible. I’ll run it through its paces when I get home.
Mel did you have fun at the dentist?

Last time they numbed me up I took a drink right after and mostly wore it.

That's very cool that your daughter fostered. :thumb: The wife and I did some GSD fostering for a span.

I've been around GSD's and Malinois since I was a little kid. Growing up we always had one and occasionally two. They're great dogs.

We never had any American GSD's. They have too many "issues" and many do not care for their angulation compared to Euro GSD's or Malinois. Why people have to mess with breeds is beyond me. It's just dumb.

My GSD, Carli, is of East German descent and was a gift to us as were our last two. They were "gifts" but my wife got her pick of the litters. The breeder/trainer was my wife's best friend growing up. The majority of her dogs end up in law enforcement or private security.

This is Carli's sister, Anya, during bite work training. She is currently a canine officer. Carli is the same size as Anya and neither is not all that big really. Well compared to the males.

Here is her father doing apprehension and bite work. His lunge below resulted in a very solid grab and grip of the trainers bite sleeve. They will not let go until the command is given. He was also an officer but had to retire early due to injury. I think I posted a video of him a while back doing "work" up at the facility.

Carli's dad (sire) was a sable and her mom (the b*tch) was all black. The litter turned out 1/2 and 1/2. It was fun getting mobbed by them all when they were pups. We always preferred sables.

Postlady just delivered my asmodus tribeaut,

If I may ask, how does it compare the the Colossus? I'm trying to decide whether I want a Tribaut or the Amighty (I think I want something that takes 21700 and 20700 batteries).

Yeah its best to use Steam Engine to calculate for resistance/wraps etc before ordering flat wires.

I agree with you. Polls can, and are, made to show almost anything. I didn't want to post my take on that poll when I popped the link up. I don't think their numbers line up with what we see here but I could be wrong. Mostly everyone here is a hard core vaper. But I don't think the ages and percentages line up with the people I know here. I'm guessing but those here who are in and around my age, 59, certainly number more than 3%. Yeah, they don't give much info really. It's just a tiny snapshot without much detail.

Polls and agendas go together though. Just ask our leaders and their gangs of goons. :)

Our neighbor across the cove at the lake trains GSD and malinois for law enforcement/ military. She usually has 6-8 with her. Love watching them run full speed down the dock to jump in the water. When she works them in the yard, they remind me of a marching band, all in lines, in step.
Dentist was fine... cleaning, impressions, post fitting for the implant. I have little mouth pain in general ( I’ve had cracked teeth that needed root canals that were surprises to me). He’s finished two root canals with no novacaine. I’m lucky I guess. Only $500 copay for the implant tooth, bite guard will have to wait till January.
Haven’t tried the new Tribeaut yet (tomorrow, tomorrow).... picked up a dani mini when I got home, set it down to answer the door. What ensued was a panicked 30 minutes of searching the house.. And it was the bright blue one.... not like it blends in with anything. Found, thankfully!!

Yup. Figures don’t lie, but liars do figure.
