Mel did you have fun at the dentist?

Last time they numbed me up I took a drink right after and mostly wore it.
That's very cool that your daughter fostered.

The wife and I did some GSD fostering for a span.
I've been around GSD's and Malinois since I was a little kid. Growing up we always had one and occasionally two. They're great dogs.
We never had any American GSD's. They have too many "issues" and many do not care for their angulation compared to Euro GSD's or Malinois. Why people have to mess with breeds is beyond me. It's just dumb.
My GSD, Carli, is of East German descent and was a gift to us as were our last two. They were "gifts" but my wife got her pick of the litters. The breeder/trainer was my wife's best friend growing up. The majority of her dogs end up in law enforcement or private security.
This is Carli's sister, Anya, during bite work training. She is currently a canine officer. Carli is the same size as Anya and neither is not all that big really. Well compared to the males.

Here is her father doing apprehension and bite work. His lunge below resulted in a very solid grab and grip of the trainers bite sleeve. They will not let go until the command is given. He was also an officer but had to retire early due to injury. I think I posted a video of him a while back doing "work" up at the facility.

Carli's dad (sire) was a sable and her mom (the b*tch) was all black. The litter turned out 1/2 and 1/2. It was fun getting mobbed by them all when they were pups. We always preferred sables.
