A black Haku Riviera RDTA and PEI tank sections/drip tips from fasttech are on order to match with it. I'm starting to understand why so many people love this DNA color chip. Im kicking myself for not ordering two right now.
I just don’t understand because I’ve been eyeballing those darn things for over a month. I think the problem was I have so much already and I know I probably won’t put my DNA Therion down until it literally quits working for good and I couldn’t justify a second right now. But a good deal is a good deal and I’m seriously glad you took advantage of it. With any luck, I’ll get one down the road, anyway, but I doubt I’ll see that good of a deal on one again.

But our fellow member here showed us a great deal on a Brunhilde and I wasn’t going to get a second for stockpiling unless a deal like that showed up. So now I don’t have to think about that. :)

I can see why she enchanted everyone over Xmas dinner. I mean jeez just look at those eyes. Ya just wanna pick her up and hold her. Am I right??? Yep

Your namesake huh? Layla Sue, cool. EC's Layla is one of my favorite songs. ;)
Not Layla, but Sue. Actually my given name is Susan, called Suzanna by my mom and Suzi by my dad. I changed it to Sue in Junior High because I thought it was cooler
My Grandson, whom I raised from 9-15 gave her my middle name.

Nice :) I see you got the brass rose finch. Looks nicer than the pictures. Can’t wait. Should be here in the next couple weeks.

I’ll post a photo of mine when I get it. I’ll have one of my rabbits hold it for me so it’s still vape related content but I can still give the shinys their rabbit fix:)

@ShowMeTwice Got some questions on this lil beauty:
ULTON Hussar 2.0 II Styled RDA
Is it more restricted than the v1 Hussar?, more restricted than the Project X RTA?

The airflow on the v1 hussar RDA, Project x rta NarCa & Krma rda is my perfect frankenvape draw. But that is with a 5.5mm bore id drip tip.

And it's a bit of a worry when a MTL vaper finds restricted lung RDAs too tight
The MTL crowd come in all shapes and sizes.....some swear by the 0.8 mm draw, other 1.2mm and so on. Not many rebuildables do it all. The ones that do are prized.....the xeta for example can go from a very slightly restricted DL down to a 0.8 direct lung. You can adjust both the under coil air intake and the chimney bore....it's the most versatile piece of kit I've ever seen. In fact I can't thing of many rtas which do the same.....maybe the flash-e-vaper, fev 4....

Hope you enjoy the hussar

I have both the v1 and v2 running atm. With the DT it comes with (6.5mm bore) yes the v2 is more restricted than the v1 or the X. Not by a whole lot versus the v1 but it is very noticeable to me. I love the X wide open but the v2 is not even close to that. It's on par with the SMJY 2k16 Doggy wide open but it most closely matches the Venna. Don't you have a Venna?

FWIW I have the SXK version in my cart only because I think they do a better cloning job versus Ulton. Same with YFTK and Coppervape and their clones. The SXK vsn wasn't yet available when I got mine.

    Hope that helps. ;)
With regard to clones I think it just depends and you just need to know the answer. Generally speaking sxk and yftk are the safest and more consistent quality but then sometimes ulton is. It's a shame that @Vape Muppet isnt around much anymore as she knew a lot about which version to buy.

Anyway, it's always best to go on a recommendation from an existing user....that's my main point :)

I setup my new mod and installed a new theme. Sweet setup, really glad I got this one. My Luna is staring at me with indignation right now lol.

I've been keeping my eyes open for a reasonable price DNA 75C ever since I wrapped my vaping hands around Thor:D

Wow. So Ulton didn't exactly make a 1:1 clone of the Tripod. It is really hit-and-miss with clones. I didn't know anyone else made a clone for the Tripod.
Well how much of a 1:1 the Ulton is I won't know, but the torn o ring worries me. Not sure if its because of a sharp edge or if its a tolerance thing. It was very tight to move the liquid control from the start. I'll see when I strip it down later.

I snapped some photo's of the Tripod manual for you and @NolaMel and @Letitia. You guys should save them
Thanks for that John. That'll come in very handy. Then again it all depends on how the tolerances is on this clone. I do have a huge stash of o rings, so i'll definitely find something that'll work.
I'm contemplating getting an original Tripod. My thinking is, if the clone is this good, then is worth the while investing in a OG.

Bitten by the shinyitis bug. The Vinci X has been in my cart and bubbling around in my thoughts for days now. Pulled the trigger a few minutes ago and also bought one for a friend who's had a seemingly permanent loan of my favourite pico 75 (the silver one from 2016).
It'll be a double bonus when this vape mail arrives - I get the Vinci X and hopefully the old pico back.
I saw a Mike Vapes review of the rba for the Vinci X but couldnt see it for sale on FT. Has anybody got one yet?

EDIT: Got that wrong about a Vinci X rba. Just checked and I'm pretty sure it was another rba that Mike Vapes reviiewed - maybe the Aegis boost

for prebuilts it's the same advice repeated, don't go fancy focus on mass and AVS is good... most are about wrapping your own

i guess ill make a thread, got to place the order before the 'chinese' new year

I know a lot of the OG crowd think they're the bees knees. Really given the funding it's probably better to always go for the original. Me being a cheapskate though find myself shocked by some of the prices

Joking apart it's the finer details that are going to count. Edge finishing, o-rings and tolerances between the different components :)

Some of the X rbas are still pre order. But try 3fvape and 3avape. Mine is coming via one of those. I think it's the Mechlyfe brand that is delayed.....hope this helps :)
