Unless someone comes out and says it has phenomenal flavor,
It has very good flavor. Won't call I phenomenal though. Bit on the loud side for me....but then again, i'm used to the super silent Avocado by now ;)
Definitely worth taking it out. It's way up there for sure.

Stop Fred, just stop  It’s out... we’re just staring at each other.
What diameter coil would you recommend?

:lol::lol: I have a 3.0mm in now, but will change to a 2.5mm tonight.
Like I said above I am a bit baffled about the coil leg length. You can't see properly how the air hits the coil when the coil is installed...you'll see what I mean. It's not deck breaker though. I would just like to have it at the optimum height.

Agree. This is one time I wish there was an included coil so I could at least measure its little legs! I’ll research tomorrow perhaps. If I find an answer, I’ll post it here.

EDIT: yep, typing this for the hundredth time... @TrollDragon beat me to it. Again. Of course, I’d take his advice over mine any day ;)

I can't find my coil leg tool. Never used it actually :D
How is leg length measured? From the centre of the coil (helix), or from the bottom of the coil?
bottom of the coil.
get a coily tool if you can. 3D printed in the UK but relatively inexpensive. naturevape have them for a decent price.

Thanks that's what I thought. Nah I have one. Just never used it and don't know where it is now.
I know exactly where mine is. Never used it. Can’t imagine a plastic jig could be too difficult to figure out?

That would make sense, but I don’t take my dual battery mods out of the house. I think that’s part of why I’m so stymied. They sit next to me on a table if in use. Aegis is single battery, and definitely water proof. I’ve tested it, unintentionally lol... but, they don’t float sadly
Pretty clear to my eye your first picture shows galvanic action or corrosion. Pigs is right; evidence suggests exposure to saltwater (which is both both corrosive and a pretty fair conductor). Perhaps some collected under/around the positive pole that wasn't noticed. Presence on opposing poles of the two batteries and piling could indicate subsequent use in a dual battery mod -- which would accelerate the corrosion. So double caution on batteries and saltwater. Plus don't use mod's for flotation ;)

Here's a link that might help.

Lol! I’ll try not to rely on one to save me should the boat sink ;)
I agree about saltwater and it’s corrosive nature....But.... My married batteries never leave the house. And they don’t get to cat about town without their mate. Once married, they’re stuck as a pair. Duals are too heavy/bulky for toting around, so an end table in the den is as far as they get. Not sure where they’d be finding salt water, unless they’re sneaking out to Florida behind my back while I sleep. Perhaps I should be keeping a closer eye on the little buggers!

Yeah this is a damn good tank. I'm surprised that a tank with a chimney can make that much flavor. With the second tank and the cotton broke in, it started working it's way up to phenomenal :D
I rebuilt it with some fused clapton (had a round coil in). Went with a 3.0mm coil again. Got a problem fitting all that cotton into the ports though. Had to trim (I don't like trimming cotton) to fit it in. I'll definitely try 2.5mm soon.
Also I take back what I said about it being "noisy". It actually isn't. Don't even know where I got that idea
