Yeah, it's lovely, Plus football. I had no idea Kansas even had a football team. I thought it had the Corn Palace, and that's it. And I could be wrong.
Somebody asks. Someone gets told "Here is your answer. You ASKED."
Then he makes fun of you. Hmmm.
No no, it's all good, I actually think that MAY be the correct response.
THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW. If you ask my pretty much ANYTHING you will get my genuine, uncensored answer.
There are many Anna people who know MUCH better than to ask about certain things, LOL.
It gets problematic sometimes during like, uh, DBT group therapy. The therapist is supposed to be "authentic" but sometimes I do it with teens and like, sometimes my answers are NOT so PG. I have to often use myself as an example of what NOT to do,
Golly, the worst was some teen who asked me if I was bipolar in one group. I opened my mouth and some other little teen who had a daddy who Did not Take His Meds, and she was like "NO! She'd be all psycho and confused and doing drugs and blah blah blah."
I don't really love revealing my diagnosis to clients because I don't think it's a good idea. You really shouldn't in mental health in my opinion because it's like unduly influencing to the patient, in good or BAD ways.
Like, if my damn freaking nurse practitioner had SHUT UP about her stupid thyroid cancer I would have been FAR less likely to follow her (for me) UNDULY POOR and INSANE (for me) directions regarding my thyroid,
There are things you do not do as a medical practitioner and that is one of them.
