If you like cloud chasing stacked mods and series box mods can't be beat. I'm a cloud guy and love my stacked/series mods. You definitely have to build for it.
Yeah, series is about horsepower. You can get some muscular wattage within the CDR of good batteries with all that extra voltage.

You can also set your cotton on fire if you don't know what you're doing.

Agreed! Stacked/series mods are not for the faint of heart. When I got my first stacked mod I justed used dual 26g round wire coils 4mn I'd. I was impressed. I made up some Killer coils I call Serial Killers. WOOHOO! That's the ticket right there. My wife doesn't like it. The whole house looks like a speakeasy on a busy night in nothing flat. Fog up the whole house.

Have fun, it can take quite a bit of tinkering to find a coil you like on a mech. I'm still searching for a single coil/cell build that I actually like.

Just play safe, as you now have two batteries that can get nasty quickly instead of one if something goes south.

Thank you. And I appreciate that I can ask for help and you guys step right up.

I don’t know if this is a good deal or not, but I saw it and thought I’d share.

Vape mail is sadly down to dribs and dabs these days. Today was several rolls of clapton wire, more firebolt (I have a couple of cotton loving tanks), some nauty coils for a pod, and a huge pile of DTs (26!!!!) that all look like winners :). Checking my batteries to load the Armageddon revealed I have a day of rewrapping ahead. Alas, I was looking forward to coffee and squonk, but duty calls before I can lollygag

The top of the stack has that black plastic which isn’t removable m, but that silver colored pin does move - which should allow it to make contact with the top of the bottom and bottom of the top battery.

This adapter fits inside any of the 21700 mods I’ve tried. I think it’s out of a Topside but I really don’t recall. I just use this one whenever I need an adapter, rather than trying to keep all of them sorted for each different mod.
Mmmh still trying to figure out what the adaptor does. It just looks like a sleeve to get a 18650 to fit in the mod. Mabye I’ll just get one and try it out sometime. I have a topside as well.

I don't know if you saw my response, but I have 2 unicorn stacks and it is removable. In fact it should be taken out of the tube. If fits on the end of the stack piece. You'll see what I mean. And yes, the contact floats to accommodate different battery lengths.

I have a dual Ni80 twisted clapton build in my copper og Goon 24 on my copper XXX at 3mm and .3ohms. :D That's on the outer edge of what I like though. VROOOOOM! And you definitely have to keep that cotton wet.

That’s exactly what it is... just a sleeve to make a 18650 fit better in a mod that will hold a 20700 or 21700.

Yes...have we really been paying that for a 60 ml bottle of juice :D

I for one will never go back :)

Well, when I first started I was paying $30 for a 30ml bottle. Wasn't short of money and I figured if the Premium juice costs more it must be better. I was probably wrong about that but pretty soon I started making my own so it didn't matter after that.

How fabulous is this? A custom made stabwood door for my Armageddon! Even prettier in person.
That’s gorgeous! Did you get to pick the slab or just the color? Either way that’s a WINNER!!!
You’re making me wish for some for mine

Neither, I admired one similar that someone made, and this was sent to me! I don’t know if that person would want me to name them...

    Morning shinies ;)

I use the rods from the CM4 kit to install every coil. I find their extra length makes it easier to screw/clamp down on some decks, and the coil slides off easily. The coilers themselves, make it easier to wrap fused claptons without the wire twisting. But for round and flat wire, I just use the CM rods stuck in the handle.

I've tried a standard coil jig, but for me, it was awkward to get the coil on and off the jig. So it really comes down to what you prefer using - and unfortunately the only way to learn that, is by trying out different tools.

There is no right or wrong tool - just what is right for you

    hmm...

I don't bother with the stubby little winder piece that fits on the end of the jig - it's finicky, causes overlapping and just isn't needed imo.

When I was growing up, everything was Avocado green and harvest gold. It took me 30 years to get over it, but I do like green again.

Oh another thing the one that @Don29palms shared looks like a pretty good product in fact I put it on my wishlist even though again I do use my jig more often than a coiler. I only have two different options for my coiler and I've been finding that I need a little bit more variety lately

yes i put it in the wishlist for reference. if i'm sticking to this type of coiler, i might as well stick with CM..

i mean i do have the standard jig that came with the wotofo tool kit... two of them. there;s no place to hook the wire as you wrap, like some photos i seen, but would be alright given what you're all describing,,

i just saw the one i linked before
    9655544-5.jpg

and figured it is essentially what a lot of you are describing doing, wraping by hand rather using the coiler, only with a handle and a spot to hook.

then don said the coilers are still better.

then virtually everybody said yeah but we essentially use the coilers as jigs and ignore the coiler function...

like i said the one you're talking abt looks alright, despite a lot of negative reviews (seems like some are just getting bad batches). just unklike the CM4 and the jig in the img not sure my quadcores would go thru the holes and wrap alright on it.

btw: every email i've sent to CB to tell them the CLeito coils arrived after all and they should either recharge me or tell me where to send it back they say: we have refunded you [bad english and they assume any communication is a request for money... i'm TRYING TO PAY YOU DANGIT!]
