Do the sft. Do very small ones, 5 mls is plenty. You may find some are just fine solo. Go ahead and mix up all but the fruits now, so they’ll be ready when your RBAs arrive. Let the fruits wait so you can try them fresh.

went for 4 of the stuff i really need to understand, evidently i was following your instructions before receiving them, now there's a prospective TA if ever der wer wun.

Tobaccos and custards need to steep. Fruit and minty stuff is ready quickly. I let them sit open for a day or two to let any alcohol from the flavoring evaporate. After that they are usually good.

where does tea fit in this taxonomy? ginger, lavender and the like count as minty?

As much as I hate doing sft, they really do help. Once you know what it tastes like singly, you’ll know better how it will mesh with other flavors. I hate doing them, my impatience wants to jump right in to a mix. But, you’ll have a lot less mixes to dump down the drain if you sft first. Public Service Announcement for the day....Don’t be a dolt like Mel, SFT!!! Oh, and take notes. Trust me, you really won’t remember which vendor flavor “x” was less sweet/more candy like/more sweet/weak/strong down the road

i guess notes are next. odd it's an infectious writing style, i found myself following the note style in the shopping list. won't fret too much now though, not like i got 3 renditions of 2 types of strawberry by 5 manufacturers from 11 continents...

    Morning shinies ;)

been awake all night, so at 2am I spring cleaned my bathroom. Next insomnia night, I'm doing ANYTHING. but cleaning

Listen to those above my post - do 5ml SFTs first. But there's no reason why you also can't do a couple of 10ml test mixes of your recipe.

If you use the recipe creator at ELR, it has a section in it for notes. I use this app as my recipe calculator, and I note down every little detail when creating a recipe

    that's the plan for tomorrow_

i did mix up a blueberry cheesecake, had the cheesecake for ages on a whim but never used it. i doubt i'll like DLing it_ i normally can't stand desserts; was just i'd enjoyed a ready 20nic liquid of the flavour i got when that shopping was clearing out_ strong flavours like tobacco or vanilla i can only enjoy mtl i'm finding, i have a suspicion cheesecake will be the same. who knows though, cheesecake might be migh be diff, we'll see.

-- so sft-ing.. thing problem is is measuring. ordered those beakers but it was dumb, measures start at 10ml and mark 5ml intervals. the syringes aren't that practical and, well, if i'm doing sft's even 1ml markers are too blunt. been basically using the elr recipe maker to make percentages and adding by drops_suggestions?

i've opened up to a scale since i got a green light from aforementioned knittyplantybaker.. what are we talking abt? 0.1g or 0.01g resolution? i'm guessing the latter_ which baker can't use, but she digests the idea better than 'schatz, you know what a squonker is?'
explored and found much on the expensive side_ then found a gold/jeweler precision scale from a private seller on ebee, seems willing to send now and it's in germany so not far: palm sized-like, 0.01g resolutions up to 200g for 14euro//:: go go or no no? suspiciously cheap, wrong resolutions or does it sound about right?

i'll check in on the morrow for the answer_ (have i mentioned you guys are sectacular?!)

**the night hemisphere greets Forskith as it resigns the light unto him: bequoth! bequoth! cry the nightingales as the wind strums the clouds emanating tunes of dusk. goodnight shinys! goodnight goodnight!

Until you get a scale, just count drops for SFTesters. If you can get some small disposable pipettes from a pharmacy, they work as well.

I'm using a cheap jewellery scale - your knitter/baker is correct you want it down to 0.01g. The other thing is how long before it auto-shutoffs - the longer the better, in case you get distracted while pouring/measuring ;)

Speaking of arcing - is there any way of reducing it effectively? 2 of my REOs arc quite badly (you can see the contact through the door when vaping). I've tried cleaning all contacts with alcohol, de-oxit and even de-oxit gold coating. That improves the conductivity and seems to help with the arcing a bit but I'd like to reduce it more.

While we are on the subject of mechs - what else can you use to clean contacts? isopropyl alcohol is liquid gold in my wee town

and talking of paper gold - guess who dropped a whole roll of toilet paper in a hot water bucket this morning?

Does anybody have any suggestions of how I can get this delrin back into this switch. I can summon my Thor-like power but it’s only enough to get it in. It refuses to sit and just pops out.
I’ve tried Vaseline, ejuice and I have that Vaseline-y juicy mess on a radiator to see if I can heat it up enough to budge (while being able to handle it)

    any ideas?

I’ve added another dimension! Delrins gone in the freezer

if I throw enough sh*t at the wall, something will stick, right?

    I appreciate the reply

I edited my post. So delrin in the freezer to contract, switch on the radiator to expand covered in grease.
I’m going to have a cup of tea while science does it’s thing

I never made it through school

no, I'll order some online if I can. Anything in the supermarket work?
Ange this is the pack to get:

The D100L is for cleaning the contacts - you apply and wipe it off.
The G100L is to help with conductivity after the contacts are clean. You apply a light coat and leave it on. I've been using Deoxit as an electronics contact cleaner for 35 years - it's good stuff.
