I survived all day working with zero sleep

But I vaped way too much and damn grateful I recently dropped my nic levels to 9mg. I was at 10.5mg, until 2 weeks ago. But back then I started getting nic sick if I vaped too much, and I prefer to be able to vape as much as I want/need to. So I listened to my nic-sick body and dropped my juices to 9mg.

I've got no plans of ever becoming nic-free, or even lowering my nic levels any more. But as a few of you wiser shinys told me - listen when your body gets nic sick :D

    Don’t be too sure.

I’m at 12mg/ml, for my adv, and never thought I’d go lower, but I am starting to over-nic at that level.

    I flavor vape at 6mg/ml.

Might be time to make that my nic level across the board.

Maybe it’s because of the lockdown.

I nearly drowned in a riptide on cape Cod around 5 yrs old. I’d prefer a different way to go although I have read some interesting “thoughts” on the letting go of drowning. But it was fiction so there’s that.

Before I quit smoking I was having really serious breathing problems. My lips were turning blue from mild housework, and I couldn't make it all the way to the mailbox without taking rest breaks, and man I was scared. More afraid than I'd likely ever been in my life because I was suffocating - quite literally and that feeling was horrible.

That probably contributed as much to the success of switching to vaping as any other one thing. I KNEW what it felt like for the first time to die like this, and it scared me to death. Just that complete inability to take in oxygen is huge.

I have an entire list of ways I DON'T want to die, fire, suffocation, cancer... lol.

I need a solid heart attack, just wham bam and that's it... haha. I could handle coronavirus because it's at least quicker than COPD, hopefully.. lol

Speaking of the coronavirus, so we had a teacher at the Mission school here that was sick with the virus, he also infected a couple of the students there.

However, those are no longer the only cases in our small town, apparently we have someone from out of state who is here, sick with the virus (confirmed) whose not been quarantining herself, but has rather preferred to run around spreading the virus as much as humanly possible, so at this point we likely have extensive community spread.

:( At the moment we have 12 confirmed cases, and expect that number to rise as more people start showing symptoms... apparently we expect many cases at this point.

    Good morning shiners!

How do you rescue a non-swimmer while staying 6 feet away?

I still can’t figure out how to get a haircut without the barber being on the other side of the room. I don’t think they make 6 foot scissors, do they?

it’s only 2 ft here! That’s worrying

I carry a 2ft rope at all times,

then I’m poised to apologise to the guy I save about my dreadful hair :(

come on barber. It’s definitely essential!

no wait... it’s metres. A two ft rope rofl.

I don’t go out much. If I did, perhaps I would be concerned

That's sounds awful but I know how you feel. Its one of the few things that make me start to panic and to make it worse its one of the worst things you can do....I hope they've put you on the correct meds to stop that happening?

The only way to deal with it is to tell yourself to calm down and try some deep slow breathing to make yourself relax. Before I had all the infections whilst having the stem cell treatment I was averaging 92% saturation with meds but now I'm way below that if I take my oxygen off. I should be able to get back to before though once my heamoglobin comes back to normal.

You know where I am if you need to chat about stuff

The state just passed 21,500 cases (“only” 1013 deaths). Right at 11,000 of those are just here in NOLA. I wish people would. Just. Stay. Home! So this could get over.
@Opinionated , you’ll get tired of grocery deliveries. Today I only got about half what was in my order. Cooking dinner is getting imaginative trying to figure out how to mix and match what I’m able to get. Highlight of the day, I got bread flour, and finally eggs (third attempt)! Definitely making a loaf tomorrow. Himself was thrilled, raisinettes made the basket today. Crazy how a little thing can make you happy lol.

Agreed...in fact most deaths from old age involve breathing getting difficult....that's what happens when you hear about someone dying in their sleep peacefully :):(:nun:

I get so cross with the non compliant idiots.... we've been locked down until May 11th and then France is going to gradually open up again but with very strict rules about what everyone needs to do....

What will the idiots do then? It's so important that everyone complies otherwise we'll all be back in the same situation again.

Let's hope that the vaccine/treatment scientists come up with something soon. At least president Macron is a really impressive statesman and leader

BB and I are still getting along. Going to try and get the Xeta built tomorrow. Just have to google some build pictures. Doesn’t look too bad, just need to nail the wicking right. Rayon or cotton works best it it, if you know?

On the NZ front finding flour is somewhat of an issue. Twice we went shopping and that shelf was empty. The son bought 20kg online and they delivered yesterday...turns out its pastry flour. I'm busy baking a chocolate cake right now so will see how that turns out. Boiled two tins of Filipino condensed milk (makes super caramel) so that flour better perform.
I see various reports that China is having a second wave of the plague...same thing happened in South Korea apparently.
This damn virus is a Mega spreader, and that's not good news in terms of containing it in the time frame some countries thinks. Seems it has the ability to re infect people to.
Another thing that worries me, is how long is someone that has "recovered" from it still able to spread it...

Should be great for a cake. It’s lower protein than all purpose flour. Just make lots of pies, muffins, biscuits and cakes! Sounds like a yummy way to pass the time
