Yes that's one of the best things about this... we're all learning again what's really important just like our elders used to talk about
This has completely changed the way I live. Practicality and preparedness are major priorities for me now.

The state just passed 21,500 cases (“only” 1013 deaths). Right at 11,000 of those are just here in NOLA. I wish people would. Just. Stay. Home! So this could get over.
@Opinionated , you’ll get tired of grocery deliveries. Today I only got about half what was in my order. Cooking dinner is getting imaginative trying to figure out how to mix and match what I’m able to get. Highlight of the day, I got bread flour, and finally eggs (third attempt)! Definitely making a loaf tomorrow. Himself was thrilled, raisinettes made the basket today. Crazy how a little thing can make you happy lol.
Oh my. That's awful. I haven't been keeping up lately except I check the local situation every day but haven't seen the world news in a little while. I was getting depressed by it. I am so grateful it didn't hit the States before NYE and that they shut us down before the NFL Draft and March Madmess. We would have the same situation happening here. When the Spanish Flu hit, the second wave was the one that was the deadliest. Hope they don't rush into reopening everything. Stay safe down there.

it’s only 2 ft here! That’s worrying

I carry a 2ft rope at all times,

then I’m poised to apologise to the guy I save about my dreadful hair :(

come on barber. It’s definitely essential!

no wait... it’s metres. A two ft rope rofl.

I don’t go out much. If I did, perhaps I would be concerned

BB and I are still getting along. Going to try and get the Xeta built tomorrow. Just have to google some build pictures. Doesn’t look too bad, just need to nail the wicking right. Rayon or cotton works best it it, if you know?

I'm using rayon lately on everything...great results except on the zeta. I keep getting dry hits. When I change back to cotton the problem is solved. Rayon is tricky sometimes. You have trim just the right amount to get the right wicking. I'm afraid on the zeta, if I trim to much it might leak into the coil. I don't like hassles so I stick with cotton in there.

I’ll try cotton then, TY! I use rayon mostly, but I have a couple tanks that just seem to do better with cotton. Don’t know why, but that’s exactly why I asked!

I survived all day working with zero sleep

But I vaped way too much and damn grateful I recently dropped my nic levels to 9mg. I was at 10.5mg, until 2 weeks ago. But back then I started getting nic sick if I vaped too much, and I prefer to be able to vape as much as I want/need to. So I listened to my nic-sick body and dropped my juices to 9mg.

I've got no plans of ever becoming nic-free, or even lowering my nic levels any more. But as a few of you wiser shinys told me - listen when your body gets nic sick :D

    Don’t be too sure.

I’m at 12mg/ml, for my adv, and never thought I’d go lower, but I am starting to over-nic at that level.

    I flavor vape at 6mg/ml.

Might be time to make that my nic level across the board.

Maybe it’s because of the lockdown.

seiously 9 and 12 you dl that??

I've never used rayon so no idea about which is better. @TrollDragon might have used rayon so he may know :)

I avoid all tv news, because I stream and it’s easy to do. And I limit what I read. Too distressing and aggravating. But I hear too many people - locals mostly - talking like everything should go back to normal right after lockdown.

Personally, I’d rather see social distancing and masks in public until there’s a vaccine and most of us have had one.

@NolaMel I've only ever used cotton, so if course that’s what’s in my bb. If I can find the video that helped me, I’ll share it.

You may have seen this Mel. I base my wicking on Todd's and it's never failed. Cotton for me

Good morning Squirmy. When I started vaping, I started mtl with 50mg nic salts to get off the stinkies. Did that for a couple months, then went to dtl with 6mg regular nic. Stayed on that for about 4 months, and then dropped to 3mg, and have been there ever since. I don't vape any more with the lower mg. If anything I vape less, except for now with the extreme boredom of lock down, I am vaping a bit more. I plan at some undetermined time in the future to drop to 0mg and keep vaping just for the flavor and social aspect, as I enjoy vaping and people very much. You included Wormy.

I get so cross with the non compliant idiots.... we've been locked down until May 11th and then France is going to gradually open up again but with very strict rules about what everyone needs to do....

What will the idiots do then? It's so important that everyone complies otherwise we'll all be back in the same situation again.

Let's hope that the vaccine/treatment scientists come up with something soon. At least president Macron is a really impressive statesman and leader

It wasn't just simple non compliance in this case, it was intentional, as a result our county is now officially closed to anyone from outside the county for longer than 24 hours, which allows people to work here and go home if they live out of county, but doesn't allow anyone to come stay here.

And of course as there are no hotels for a shorter than 14 day stay according to state mandate, and all campgrounds etc now shut down according to county mandate, it should help stop that particular issue anyway...

It won't stop simple non-compliance from our own people, but I think for the most part people here are doing fairly well with being compliant I think, although some say not everyone is being as good about it although I've not actually seen it in my world of complying.. lol

Our state is shut down until June 10th.. so we have almost two months yet, although if they open some more businesses up on the Federal level before then, people will likely get antsy about complying with state mandates...

But we shall see, we shall see. Economists say that approximately 40% of all small businesses in the nation will end up having to shut their doors permanently if the shut down lasts too long, and I really hope that doesn't happen. Its all about finding the right balance.
