Agreed....the thing is
you all seem so aggressive when it comes to politics. More like a 16th century unruly mob than a twentieth century open discussion with respect for both sides of the viewpoint.
Political comment and opinions have no place at all here, even if they are decorated nice, prettied up, and veiled as respectful. If people here really care about not offending others, don't make comments that invite offense....especially if you are offended easily, by those that aren't. If everyone here is honest, look at who it is that bring politics into this
thread....every single time, then expects no response, unless it's by someone that agrees with them. Isn't that baiting, or trolling? I

thread. Never once did I introduce my own political opinions, until I responded to politics that were already brought into this
thread. If you don't want to hear us respond, then tell the ones bringing politics in here to just,
DON'T SAY IT! This isn't the thread for it, or what any of us comes here for.
And Charlie, you distinguished us as, "You all". I respect you Charlie, and sincerely love, and care for you. I would be heart broken and devastated if anything ever happened to you after all you've been through, whether you believe that or not. But, I've just got to say "We all", are just not sneaky, underhanded, and politically correct when we talk. We say what's on our minds, honestly, unveiled, and straight to the point. And those here that are not open minded, don't like it. They don't like being called out, and feel they should be able to say what they want, as long as it's decorated as nice. And, they don't want "open discussion with respect for both sides of the viewpoint". What they want, is unfettered freedom to post their opinion, without push back, or resistance to their viewpoint. They don't want calm or reasonable discourse or debate. Their only objective is to get their opinion posted, and then, either be agreed with, or to be left alone. They are not open minded, or tolerant to anyone’s viewpoint but their own. They should just keep it to themselves, and leave politics totally out of this thread.
Again, I say, if you don't want to hear what's on our minds, and be direct, in response to prettied up political opinion, which is just a deceptive and dishonest way to sneak their own personal political viewpoint in here.....tell them to keep it to themselves, and leave their political opinions totally out of this thread. There is a forum here for that type of discussion. Take it there!
