Broke down and ordered a couple of the newly released SXK KF v5 squared. Expect in a couple weeks. Initially missed on v5.2's but then stumbled onto a poor quality clone last year that I enjoyed. Love the flavor, air flow, and capacity. This should give my Smoant Cylons and ipv Eclipses something to cheer about; they've been lonely since Haku Rivieras landed on the squonk modes.

Re-wicked my Xeta with rayon for the first time yesterday. Tried the super tight through the coil thing. I've gotta say I'm loving it. After an initial short break in time the flavour's really popping and it's wicking fast and smooth
That's peaked my interest a bit. I've got to say that rayon has always seemed like a recipe to give yourself more wicking issues for very little gain.

I didn't think that it affected the flavour much :)

I have a question, if I were to buy an rta, rda, or any of those rebuildables, what would be the best option, I just need to get my nicotine shot once in a while, and just like to get some huge vapor to make clouds. I'm just looking to get some advice on this so I know what to ask for my birthday

Hi Metmorfin

Well if you want huge clouds probably your best bet is a dual coil or mesh RDA and then whether you make that a squonking RDA or not is up to you. A lot of us prefer squonking because it's a bit easier and you effectively have an 8ml tank on tap. Something like the dead rabbit dual RDA or the profile mesh RDA will do the trick but there are loads out there.

If you wanted to squonk then you would also need a squonk mod to go with it.

Hope this helps :)

I have used geekvape Zeus x,it’s not hard to build and the flavour is very good.Geekvape had a new rta coming out which is named Zeus mesh rta,the flavour would be better then Zeus x as it is using mesh technology

The Zeus will chuck a pretty mean cloud for you too @Metmorfin :)
If a dual coil RTA peaks your interest I can highly recommended the Big Bad Brunhilde RTA;)
Great flavour and will fill your house with clouds in no time:w00t:

God morning shiners! I think one of my juice orders might be lost in the post office recycle bin. Which really sucks as my commercial juice phase came to an end today with the ban on juice flavors. I have more in the delivery tack, but I hope the other one eventually appears

I'm a disgrace: I got stuck in a rut months ago (Galaxies, Gate, Doggy, KFL19, and KFL+v2), and almost all of my purchases are sitting untouched in the vape bureau. It's embarrassing.
You aren't alone. I have quite a few rtas never built and some unopened.

    Good morning Shiny's

I see that you joined fairly recently. Are you sure you want a rebuildable? RTA, RDA, etc all stand for 'rebuildable'. One has to know how to build and install coils. If you are just looking for a tank for nic consumption you do not necessarily need something that requires building. You can buy something with a drop in coil, that gets changed out and will give you nic and clouds.
Just asking because when I was new I had the lingo all mixed up and did not know what was what

Me either and it might just be a lucky coincidence.
My main worry was pulling through the coil too hard (with tight wick) against those dodgy Xeta posts/clamps. Like I might have to screw the clamps down even harder to stop the coil slipping out and maybe snap something again. So far so good

Yeah I'm sure that I want a rebuildable, I've looked around and saw that I could just buy premade coils themself, and would only need to learn how to apply the cotton to it. I just want to go for as low ohms as I can, and my current tank has a low of 0.26 i think, but the mod can go to 0.06 so im willing to try that out

Keep in mind that you don't need low resistance (Ohms) coils to blow big clouds. You can vape 0.3 to 0.6 Ohm builds at a mid level power and fog up the room.

The lower your coil resistance, the more danger of pushing your battery (batteries) past their safe CDR (Continuous Discharge Rating).
It's very important to understand Ohm's Law. Understanding battery safety even with regulated mods can be the difference between happy vaping and a house fire or missing fingers.

Good morning Shinyville! Hoping all are safe and well. Overcast and rainy here today, which is fine. My lawn and garden need some free water. Today's Family Picture from July 2011...Top of First Peak of Grandfather Mountain near Boone, NC (named for Daniel Boone). Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in western NC, Boone is our favorite family getaway. So much to do up there. Hiking, caving, and whitewater rafting are just a few of the things we like doing. I just like sitting on the back porch of our cabin in the morning, looking down over the valley, with nothing but the birds and a mountain stream to break the silence. Oh, the serenity.

We've been there in the Fall every year for the last 30 years or more. Not sure if we'll make it there this year with the Corona Virus. Love your photos and it makes me want to take a 6 hour drive to Cherokee.
