I know you've had a few problems with yours Fred but mine's been ok. Nothing earth shattering but solid. Only use the RDTA and it never leaks, no dry hits, no broken bits.
Bad luck comes in threes they say...
My boost was my no 2. I reached 3 so i'm good now. I still love the boost though. Had very good times with it...no regrets really.
Viet Nam they love CM in their coffee
Man oh Man, that's brings back memories..best coffee I ever had.

The Hugo squeezer is pretty big by my standards:
It's was quite dissapointing for me....terrible voltage drop.
I sanded it to fit my hand and that worked out well

To fix the voltage drop you can go this way...I didn't care bothering with it.

You did an awesome job sanding it. I think it looks sharp.

I've never had Vietnamese coffee but you all got me interested. Robusta (grown in Da Lat) brings the strongest, boldest brew with nearly 2x more caffeine content and 60% less sugar and fats than its arabica counterpart. Hmmm.

There are three Vietnamese cafes not far from me. I must try ca phe sua.

Strongest coffee I've ever had was traditional Turkish coffee. It was served in a very tiny cup. I was bouncing off walls. :D

Damnit about the voltage drop, may still go for it - who knows

and I cleaned one of my dotsquonks today. I swear I gained 0.4V after the black crap came off  It hit OK before the clean, but so much better after it. I think I'm a crap judge at voltage drop, so the real test will be when I pull the battery. This has a 0.75ohm in it that I usually pull @ around 3.6ish volts.

I'll keep everybody in suspenders waiting to find out the result!

blue ones are the BEST . After I pulled out the 510 pin - step 4 - there was black crap on the middle of that where the switch makes contact

and I presume it's carbon buildup from the switch

I don't know whether it was just me but the lift off seemed particularly smooth and less pyrotechnic than I remember them?

My strongest was given to me by my brother in law. I was at my older sisters and she only had decaf. I was a serious coffee addict then and couldn't cope without. It was Christmas so my brother in law brought me some fresh beans which he'd picked up from a visit to Costa Rica I think....well one of the south American countries anyway.

I freshly ground some of the beans and had around three cups just after midday. Couldn't sleep a wink all night that night.... extraordinary high caffeine content but delicious though :D:lol:
