Thank you! It all makes sense now. One adapter was already in it, which I couldn’t even see. So I couldn’t get a 21700 in there, used an 18650, but didn’t think to remove that ring.

I have a 21700 in it now, and it’s working great!

I’m going to have to snag a Mordor too.

I found that one as well and apparently the site is very reputable people seem to really like it. I'm having second thoughts about the inbox though because they say it has terrible door rattle and I can't stand door rattle LOL so now I'm on a difficult search for DNA squonk mods LOL I think I've fallen down a damn rabbit hole and now I'm starting to wonder what the difference is between yihi and dna and I'm confused as to which yihi chip is comparable to the DNA series because I feel like there's a lot of different Yihis and a good portion of them are junk but I'm not sure. @Fidola13 may be able to give you a little bit of feedback on the yihi chips, she has a good selection of different chips in a lot of her Lovely Stabwoods

So inevitably I've come full circle around 2 a lost Vape drone I'm still kicking myself in the .... for not picking up one that was $50 probably xmas time. For some reason though I have a negative impression of the product I've never had one I've never seen one in person but for some reason I feel like people think that it's a piece of crap. Anyone can shed any light on whether or not the Lost Vape drone is a piece of crap. I mean I'm not expecting a miracle out of it running around $120 from what I can tell Far Cry from that $50 that I wish I had purchased it for. I do like large mods I like fake ultem and I like dual-battery squonk box with the Mach On3 being probably my favorite... anyhow anyone have anything to share about the Lost Vape drone or have any clue why I feel like people have a very negative impression of it

The biggest issue the original had was the plastic bottle, not silicon like most.
If memory serves i quit carrying it because of the size. Funny though i now have a topside dual almost every day lol.

The dna accuracy for temp is why i got it, but then quit using temp. Maybe thats why i phased it out.

The topside ease of fill etc has stopped me using all my other squonks. There are more than 20 types of squonks in the drawer lol.

There is a limited run yihi topside called the carbon if you consider those boards as mentioned earlier.

I appreciate yr ramble. This is the newer one with the 250c that I'm looking at but honestly it looks like it's not built as well as the original at least as far as the battery door goes..i know one can't get ahold of the original anymore without performing some sort of ritual lol

Besides Hightech I know 1 or 2 who have a Drone and do not have any issues. Charlie here has one. Blitz has one.

People that have them and do have problems say they are pieces of crap. Google "lost vape drone problems".

Some Drone's leak from a bad 510. There is a DIY fix (shouldn't have to). Evolv even sent some people new 510's which also leaked. Some have flimsy/poorly fitting doors. Others come with magnets reversed.

Do you happen to know if there's anything in particular wrong with the original VT inbox I found the mod only which is fine by me for like 70 bucks with free shipping in two colors that I like. I know some people were saying in reviews that they didn't like the way you have to use a proprietary bottle because of the giant tube that appears to be attached to the mod but I'm kind of weird and I tend to like squonks that actually have a mod attached tube so it's usually the metal kind like what you would have in a drip box or the original Pico squeeze unregulated I think.

Oddly enough I also like pretty hard plastic bottles again kind of like the original Pico bottles the dark black ones that you can barely tell how much liquid you have left for some reason those are my jam

I agree with you I like the integral tube set up too. Well hey who says we have to hate what everyone else hates. I think originally it was about how messy changing bottles was but actually they both have their pros and cons.

The VT does suffer from slight distortion on some of their doors as they're held on by three magnets creating a rocking effect sometimes. It's easily corrected by bending the door, but you need to be careful though. They don't all do it so I wouldn't see it as a deal breaker as it's such a good squonker.

With the yihi you're right you need to have the right board. I'm not an expert but I expect somebody else here knows. I would stick to DNA if I were you as every board they've ever done has been superb.

No it's not a piece of crap. I love mine... DNA 200C board and very well built. Some people had trouble with leaking due to the way the tube from the 510 was fitted but mine's never given me any trouble whatsoever and it's a sublime vape. Every time I buy a squonker I always make sure I have spare bottles that fit. Something else for you to think about. Bottles can be bought cheap at FT to fit most squonkers.

You just reminded me to be mad at myself for not buying spare bottles for my Inbox when I had the chance.

I think I'm sold after looking at all of the threads a few people we're on there talking about how their product was leaking because that's pretty much what the topic was however every one of them found a fix for it. Some of them just put a o ring around the 510 because a poor seal was being made from the RDA and others had to tighten a nut and then there was one or two that replaced the entire 510 either way all of those things are fixable if necessary two of them I can do myself. And that's of course if it happened after a warranty is over
