Bad news on the Australian vape front.
@FLICK brought this to my attention today:

Prohibition on importing e-cigarettes containing vaporiser nicotine

It was just announced that a nicotine ban will be introduced at a federal level here from 1 July 2020. We'll need prescriptions to buy any vape products with nicotine in them and then only through authorized pharmacies. Imagine the cost and hassle. I doubt many doctors would hand out scripts and I doubt that even if they do there would be many authorized vendors (pharmacies) who would carry nic. Even if they did no doubt the mark up would be massive.

Customs will stop anything they find at the border from July 1.
I don't know if it will include hardware too because of the labels that say WARNING This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical.

I hope @Possum64 is aware. Pretty sure @Daniel Forsyth will be ok

Big Pharma and BT are winning. Got their puppets in gov to nail us vapers while heads are turned because of the pandemic.
Cigs cost $40/pack (most of it tax) here and it's legislated that every year the taxes on them increase by 20% on top of that.
Plenty of unemployed smokers will be going without food.

The overreach and injustice of our idiot governments knows no bounds, and is full of gangsters and thugs. This is criminal, and probably isn't long from happening here in the US. If this was put up for a vote to the people, it would never pass. I am so sorry Pigs. Hoping you are stocked up on your juice making supplies for at least a few years, and until you can figure out a work around to this travesty. It just proves again that those in charge don't give a rats .... about us, only how much $$ they can stuff their pockets with.

That $40.00 per pack works out to $27.00 here in the US. Outrageous! Highest price for a pack of cigarettes here is about $13.00 in NY. Prices here in NC (a tobacco state) are around $6.00.

You know the types - been warning them to stock up for years and they agree but never do anything about it. Them and all the non switched on vapers who have no clue and are gonna be smoking again pretty soon.
