I think Asmodus make good mods, one of the better china makers IMO, I have 2 minikins (1 has a sticky fire button, hence 2 of them), a Colossal, Agmighty and one special stabwood Ohmsmium, I don't use the Ohmsmium much, as look great when polished, but when used for a while it dulls down, so I take it out for while and then goes back in the cabinet :)

I agree. I started buying Asmodus in 2015 and have not bought much else since then. Before that it was Hex-Ohm and I have three of them. All put away and I should sell two of them. Since 2015 I have bought about 10 Asmodus mods because my first one is still going strong. Much more then I can say for anything else. ipv's, Innokins, and Eleafs always made it about a year or so with the rare exception.

As you well know, there's no 'one size fits all' in vaping. The colossal works for me with my grip, but my grip is different to yours - I hope you end up loving the Cold Steel

and don't forget about looking for a Colossal sized Gear RTA too ;)

with the airflow half open, it's comparable to the Hastur MTL just a lot shorter :D
Looks perfect together!

What do you do with your pinkie? Curl in under the mod?

This is a serious question. :D
Yes, same thing as the new Drag I bought. I only have one Colossal because I like dual batteries but that is exactly what I do. I checked for you ;)

The Vamo. One of my first ventures past the Innokin MVP. I had about 10 of them. 1-5 and then gave up. Great for MTL only

Wondering something,do all people actually vape like that or is just reviewers?

Me personally i don't suck that much (that is not what my ex mother in law would say,ba-dum chsh!) hehe, but no I'm serious I've never vaped that way.

Normally i just do paused slow and not as hard inhales, depending on the mood sometimes 2 seconds, sometimes 4 but never as ''strong'' as i see most reviewers do.

Is it just like a reviewer thing like to get the most out of each inhale or is that common practice?
Live in a small town, few vapers in the vape shop where i go to so i don't have much to base myself of,could be a general thing, who knows.
If you see these reviewers vaping in live chats they just vape like normal (?) people. Not blowing huge clouds all the time. They probably even have lighting set up to make the whole thing big and cloudy during reviews. I watch most reviews like advertisements. Glean the info I want but don't believe the hype

To be honest i haven't really paid much attention to the cloud production but the inhales? Oh go it's like the Big Bad wolf trying to blow the house down, you know from that little children's story.

Or like if Kirby vaped, same thing hehe

Big inhale/big cloud?
I'm guessing Kirby is another gamer reference? Used to play Space Invaders, Galaxians and Astroids at the local pizza parlour in the late 70s and early 80s. Then it was Dungeon Master on my Amiga 500 lol.

That's my new favourite verb: To paraneoplastblast. I'm saving up for a bigger more powerful paraneoplastblaster. Look out

That is unfortunate to hear about the Colossal. I was planning on grabbing one this week. I thought it looked like a pretty good mod. I'm in the market for a couple of single battery mods and I liked the look of the Colossal.

You can get them at a decent price, it might be worth trying. I never considered that it might be too small to be comfortable for some, it’s certainly not for me, but I have small hands. But if you want to try an AsMODus that’s a bit larger, maybe look at the Amighty.

    Good morning shinies

Not much to report on the shiny thread but my US package is looking increasingly like it's lost. It's been so long now and would be a real shame too.:(

    Oh no!!! :(

That landed in France over a week ago, didn’t it? I know the mail here is very hit and miss. Once in a while I am getting stuff in a similar time frame to the old days, some gets stuck somewhere along the line, re-routed to points unknown.

USPS was down off and in over the weekend and showed one package still in NE from last Monday till yesterday, and just now updated saying it’s ready to pick up. Another is still showing it’s in Kansas since Tuesday. Anything that sits in one place more than 10 days I call the USPS help line and have had success with that.

Hopefully yours hasn’t fallen off the planet.

I did save the file though, so it won’t be a problem to whip up another one.

Prepare to be bombarded with many more photos . First impression - feels great, build quality very good and zero door rattle or movement.

Now I feel guilty about bad mouthing the Colossal. It really is a good mod. I got a couple of them and use one every day. It just has some annoying features. The slippery surface and the low level button. Plus I tend to hold a mod in my hand and forget about it. Then I accidentally operate the touch screen, change the pre heat from N to H and occasionally change the mode and give myself a power blast.

On some of the early ones the spring on the negative battery terminal was so strong there was no way to get the battery out with just your fingers. The second one I got was fine though.

But if you aren't as clumsy as me it's a great mod. I did drop one from waist height onto concrete once shortly after I got it. Trashed the tank and chipped some paint on the Colossal but it worked fine afterwards, so it's tough.

That's a bummer. I hope that package makes it's way to Charlie.

In my experience USPS is always the unpredictable wildcard. My last dotSq from Canada took 2 days from Canadian Royal post to hand-off to USPS and then it was like 20 some days in the USPS system w/no updates. I've only used FedEx and DHL from Europe and those are always 3-5 days max. My next FT order I will use anything not named USPS.

The way things are going in the USoftheA with the pandemic and peeps not doing as they should none may receive their pkg's soon. Stoopid is as stoopid does.
    rah-rah :p
