I'm not sure about the white one. I have the two Colossi, a green one and a pretty pink one
I don't have an issue what's so ever with either of those been slippery.
I don't think you will have a problem, it looks similar to the other colours

So I'm not crazy, the dual core has a much slower ramp than my tri and quad cores? Couldn't figure what I might be doing wrong with installation. Wonder if staging them with 28g round or flat wire would help any. If not anyone need a spool?

Yeah it's wierd. The Octo and hex are super fast by comparison. I need to check the specs on the dual. maybe thick wires. I don't think the 28ga would work too well to stage with. I think it would get too hot too fast and burn the wicks before the clapton would get hot. 26 or 24 would probably work better

Good to know. I'm excited to get my grey one in a couple of days. It had a matte look to it so I wasn't too concerned. But the white one looked a bit shiny so I was concerned it might be slick. I'm sure it will be fine when I get it. I've had my eye on them for a bit now. I like how they have kind of a minimalist quality to them.

I feel like a kid at Christmas with all this new wire to play with I ditched its hard bottle, and tried a battery in the Boxer clone, and it hits pretty damn good. It's not in the Armageddon club, but it certainly doesn't need the modifying I thought it would. Well worth its $7.99 price

The original that I call v1 and the new FL (facelift). If KHW had a v2 it's news to me. Per KHW Mods "batches 1-8 have smaller external air hole and round hole chimney. Batches 9 and onward have bigger external hole (so as to allow easier cleaning of the base) and come with oval hole chimney."

Looking at the build deck of the one you have linked as v2 (your #1) - it has the oval hole chimney. So I am thinking the cloner called it v2 when in reality it is a batch 9. Hopefully that clears it up. Make sense?

Totally. I prefer the FL version--I hate struggling with small screws in tight places. I'm getting the SXK FL MTL and the inserts. For starters. Thank you very much for explaining it all so well--I really was having a hard time understanding the differences between different versions and manufacturers.

I ordered from Vape Sourcing last year. As I recall it took ~2 weeks, then. Now with the pandemic it will be longer. I will only order from overseas if they have a DHL or FedEx option. My last two orders from Europe were via DHL and FedEx. One came in 3 days and the other 5. Currently with USPS mayhem you will be waiting forever. I will not use USPS for overseas orders. My last dotSquonk from Canada was floating around USPS for ~20 days.

Grrr......... I never had any problems ordering from China via USPS e-packet, but my last order from FT was lost by USPS. The last tracking date still shows November 11, 2019, somewhere in Los Angeles.

@Daniel Forsyth, since you are a majority stockholder of Asmodus, you might be able to answer a question for me. I am thinking about grabbing another Colossal (the grey one is in transit). The white one looks pretty cool but it looks like it has a different texture. Do you happen to know if the white one is slick or slippery compared to some of the others?

The have the white one, and it’s the same finish as most of the others, high gloss. I don’t find any of them too slippery though.

AsMODus has a style that either speaks to you, or it doesn’t. Personally they’re one of my faves. The only problem you’ll likely have is the tight battery. Be sure to push the negative end up as you install. The touchscreen will unlock at a certain speed, if you swipe too fast or slow it won’t work.

I’ve never had one unlock when I didn’t want it to. For whatever reason , I have trouble getting any touchscreen to work - I think my hands are too cold. But these work really well for me.

I used to have such good service from them but the two has put me off them unless they have something I want and I'm willing to pay DHL shipping. Inquired if they would help me track down where my gt4 is. All I got was a message they will encourage the shipper to speed things up. No links or location given to where the package actually is.

Yeah, that is kind of the message I got from them after opening a ticket last week.
