I'm teetering here, but the one-sided airflow is still putting up a road block  How airy is it with your 4mm insert - compared to say the Axial rda? (3 holes open each side)
Maybe the 4mm insert on the Dvarw DL is a teeny bit airier than the 3 hole Axial af. Not much in it but I'm using an 810 DT on the Axial and the Dvarw is 510 so it's kind of apples and oranges.

Hey here's a tip with one sided air - if you angle the air intake directly away from your face instead of to one side/ear it makes it feel much more balanced.
With the great flavour and the optional af insert sizes I reckon you'd love the Dvarw DL Ange. It's also shown no signs of leaking or dry hits. Chain vaping is fine.
The only downside I can see is the posts being designed for roundwire builds (as mentioned by @charlie1465 ) but you can see in my first build photo that they will trap 2-28/36 fused clapton wire if you're careful.
    Go on buy one!!

Sounds damn perfect. I'll play around with some options on FT and order one next week

I want simple. Trouble-free. My requirements are so minimal, really:

    1. Loose MTL (~1.8-2.5 mm airflow hole under the coil or equivalent)
    2. 24 mm diameter
    3. 3-4 ml capacity
    4. 3-way airflow adjustments (under the coils and dual outside intakes)
    5. Stainless steel and glass
    6. Large and easy build deck

    Am I being unreasonable?

The Ares v2 24mm is ticking all of those boxes. Has anyone measured the size of the airflow inlet slot when it's fully open?
Daniel's review talks about it a bit:

I was just thinking, any of you folks use those vape band things around your tanks? I've seen them before, but never used them. One came with my Ares 2 tanks.

I did use them 2 years ago when I first started vaping, but I no longer use them. If started taking my RTAs outside, I may change my mind

I still say the Haar by van and dell and mark Todd..... your perfect dial in awaits :)

Very close. ;) A tad too tall (4 cm), 22mm diameter and PC tank? Seriously, Mark? But I can live with that if the draw is good and if it doesn't leak. I hate leaks.

Forgive my usual confusion--I thought that none of the Dvarws had an actual outside AFC (single or dual) and that the only way to regulate the amount of AF was via the AF inserts???

Stunning. And here's another Dvarw with a clearly visible AFC cyclops' eye. Need to investigate. If the FL MTL version indeed has an outside AFC, even a single one, the Dvarw is moving to the top of the list.

Still trying to visualize this technique. You mean the air intake is facing upwards?

My Ares is in a no man's land or some black hole between US Customs and USPS. It may take 3 days or 3 months. I'll keep you posted.

Agree with Ange. I have a bunch of them even though I never actually bought one. Never used one, either. But if you're prone to dropping your mods, they will protect your tank, I believe.
