My Grandpa would be spinning in his grave if he knew I swore allegiance to the queen when I became a citizen here in good ol NZ. Well it was a king when he fought the English....but you know what I mean.:p
Me, I love this country...I'll die for it
Do you guys have room for some Americans over there? I could use a change of scenery.

Party pooper :(
I’m sure Himself and the dog would love it, but I prefer to be the only fog machine in the house ;)
Just waiting for the Mixx to drop in the US. If I can’t snag one here, I’ll order from the EU. Unless SMT bought every tuxedo in Europe :grr:

I received my Cthulhu Hastur 88w mod early this week.

The battery tube, buttons and screws are 304 SS. The section where the board is located is aviation aluminum. It's CNC machined. Very solidly built and IMO on par with my Squid DB's in that regard. Top notch quality all around.
88w.jpg
It uses Cthulhu's own Atom chip. The chip does wattage, TC (SS, TI, NI, TCR) and bypass. The UI is super easy to navigate. The color display is bright and easy to read outdoors in direct sunlight.

Here is mine with the Pocket v2 rta (22mm). The Project X (22.5mm) fits nicely. A 24mm atty would overhang slightly.
CthulhuHastur88cr.jpg

Size wise it's 3mm shorter than a JAC DNA75 and 5mm taller than a Colossal. About the same width as a JAC. It is very comfy in-hand.

I've put it through its paces in all modes. Not much to say about wattage or bypass other than they just work. Cthulhu did a fine job with TC. Their TC is very much on par with an Asmodus Colossal or the Geek Vape Aegis Solo. I ran several tanks completely empty with no dry hits or wick burn.

Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I buy another? Yes. IMO Cthulhu did an excellent job with the Hastur 88w mod.

I bought mine from Vapelink (UK). Shipping was fairly quick at 8 days. :) Cthulhu Hastur 88W Mod

ETA: Correction, a 24mm atty will work. See my post below. Sorry.

Had my eye on this mod. Nice review.
SMT would you mind posting a photo with a 24mm atty on top? That'll be the clincher for me.

Hey shinies, happy Thursday <3

Man, I'll tell ya whut... there are some great vape companies and then there are those that really go beyond. I've been keeping my eye on the new Pandemic RDA from Unicorn and liking the postless deck and airflow options. Also, I'm a sucker for skull engravings. What can I say?

Looks pretty nice. I had a question about the finish on the black one, so I sent Trevor from Unicorn a DM about it. At the end of our chat, I had both a black and stainless version on the way via DHL and a nice secret discount on the order to top it off. The guy really loves his product and likes to take care of his customers. From all of the dealings I've had with Unicorn Vapes, I really couldn't recommend them more as a company. Truly outstanding.

Also I have some sweet vape mail coming next week, so there's that :D

 Why oh why is our country so backwards? I just feel like I want to cry sometimes. What happened to us? We used to be a shiny city on the hill and we're turning into a rotting smelly backwater. On so many fronts.
Aw come on, it ain't bad. So there are a few funky twists and turns in the road. You know better than most every country has those. Poland??? So yeah, we deal with them one way or another. Right??? Right!

We could all be living in Somalia in homes with no floors, leaky roofs, no clean water or electricity. Not to mention no toilets or showers. Plus scavenging landfills for our daily needs. And y'all think riots here are bad. Ha, that is funny IMO. :D
Western society is very spoiled and takes much for granted compared to many many people on our planet. And that is not funny. ;)

A shiny city on a hill has always been an Illusion. Look closely and you'll see.
1/2 full or 1/2 empty, you choose.

Thanks. I took a photo with the 24mm Unicorn RDA on it. As I run my fingers over where they connect it is flush. So I must take back what I said earlier. The only thing I would note is that the top of the mod has a rolled edge (see pic). If that doesn't bother you I would say you're good to go brother!

I noticed afterwards I didn't have the Unicorn cap sitting flush. Sorry.

I get Kayfun like flavor from them. Nailz, you probably already tried... but playing with the height of your coil can make a difference. I set my coil ~1.5mm above the AF (sometimes a little higher). Also too much wick inside the chamber can affect flavor. Rob Fisher has an excellent video for his Exocet wicking method. It works well. Vapdivrr's way works really well too. Hope that helps. :)

ETA: Vapdivrr's link would help. Dvarw MTL RTA by Coppervape (clone)
Rob Fisher's video makes me want to set up a Dvarw.

    Morning shinies ;)

Beautiful. And here you can see exactly what I'm concerned about--half a turn more and the AF hole is facing the mod. Would it impede free airflow into the atty? It really drives me nuts on my Pico. I know, I'm neurotic.

It's impeded more when your finger is blocking it - which I've already done  I'm ocd about airhole positions too. But there's ways around it if they aren't lining up right on your mod - beauty rings for RDAs or mod protectors like these:
    FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics
    or from Kidney Puncher:
KP Mod Guard 5 Pack- Various Sizes
work wonders, and protect your mod

I see what you mean about the rolled edge. Looks ok to me so it's still top of my list. Thanks mate.
