Wow Skunk that is awful heat. Sydney got to 118.4 degrees last summer (4 Jan 2020) It's own record. Wonder where this will end.

118.4°?!?!?! We top out at 117° I was looking forward to September because we are usually in double digits from here on out but not this year apparently...
three things come to mind.mod is finicky about the dept of the 510 or low ohms or bad mod.i'm sure it could not be from needing cleaning.

(I do feel bad for those dealing with oppressively hot temperatures though, it's got to be miserable!)
probably just the atty 510 pin length is too long for the one device. Probably would read fine with a 1/4 turn backed off.
66°F here (18.8°C). Going to be 55-58° over the next couple days. I feel bad for everyone including animals and plant life dealing with those super hot temps too.
That pic I posted of Earth disintegrating is what is supposed to happen in some however many billion years from now as our Sun goes out and turns into a red giant.

I think it's the 510. The finicky mod is a ProVari 2.5, and it also has trouble with the KFL19. I suppose, too, it could be on its way out--who knows how old it is. Guess I'll find out. For now, it's playing well with a Doggy.

Tripod and ProVari 2.5. The combo worked fine for weeks, but then I started getting E1 error messages.
Success! A quarter turn and there's no connection at all, but when the Tripod is just barely seated, it works.

Summer ends for us today, good old Kansas, 40 degree drop in 2 days, but I don't like summer, so very much looking forward to the cooler temps
