They will only take a certain thickness of wire. If it is too thick you'll never get it to stay in there when you tighten it down. I use prebuilts but O.5 2.5 I'd very fine wire fused Clapton's mostly and sometimes I just make myself a single wire coil....26 guage :)
If all else fails I will be making a single wire coil today. I do have 26 gauge and know how to use Steam Engine. Cannot imagine being satisfied with a single wire coil though. Thanks Charlie

You've got one of the first version there and getting the coils in is a bit of a pain in the .... Rob Fisher uses his thumb nail to hold it in there. PC coils make a special alien coil just for Rob. It's called the Fisher coil.

It's all worth it in the end though. The new DL FL's have side clamps which makes building a breeze :)
I should have looked into all this before I bought one. Third time buying a rebuildable and then wondering what I was thinking as I do not enjoy building and tweaking anymore and feel I get just as good (or good enough) of a vape with things like the Freemax and the Drag X.
Now I will probably be adding the Dwarv to the 'tossed aside" case of rebuildable atties along with the Aromamizer Lite, and the Kylin M.

Strawberry margarita??? Sacrilege
Lime for this margarita mama!

Shiny news...I just ordered 2 LV Grus 100. Gunmetal/carbon and gunmetal/walnut.

I prefer a classic margarita too, but 2020? I reserve the right to drink anything, any time, anywhere.

thank you SMT! Is my the older version or the newer? And yes he does just kind of lock it under the screw not wind it. Going to tackle it again tomorrow

I used my needle nose to make a little hook on one leg, to hold it around the screw, tightened that down then made a hook on the other leg as well. A little trick from my days in electrical school.

YES! Great idea. I have jewelry making tools, pliers that make hooks and I can use those. Thanks D!

SS is a nice wire for plain coils. 24guage works for me.

No compact too. I've never liked spaced....it comes from the old days I suppose getting that lovely glow from the inside out :)
Recently I've been burning through my cotton. I just space my coils yesterday with a blade to see if it will cool enough to make the cotton last a few days.

It's still blowing my mind how different juices taste in different attys. This is the main reason I'm amassing an Axial and Dvarw Army.

The Dvarw just works wonders with creams, it enhances them and the top flavour notes are smoother. The Axial gives more of an all round profile, but again, I love creams in it
I just rewicked my 22mm 2ml FL MTL for that crazy TFA Pina Colada! What is an Axial? Finally something to use 3.5ml tank for :vapor:
