It's take two with my new incoming Minikin 2o_O It was sent off via DPD Shipping 4 days ago and for some convenient reason they decided to send it back to stabwoodmods.uk:blink:
The very nice guy there Phil promptly received my marvelous Minikin and has now sent it off via UPS Expedited Shipping, much more reliable and a little bit quicker;)

So I guess I'm getting one of these. Nice guy who does coating is sending me one. First mech. (Yes I'm aware of mech safety precautions)

Plan on running a tank with .1 coils with an old 18650. May replace the wrap...

@chanelvaps, do you have the newer Dvarw DL FL or one of the older Dvarw DL's?

The DL FL will work with and trap most current wire.

The older version will take up to 26g simple round and 26/36 clapton but you need to make sure the wire is secure to the posts. Otherwise the legs can slip out. Older one also does best with a 2.5mm ID coil as there is not much room between the posts.
this one $16.68 Dvarw DL V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5/6ml / 316 stainless steel / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping
Hope you can take a gander and advise SMT. I do not look forward to more frustration with it

And another Dvarw DL tip @chanelvaps when your build is wicked and primed, put that frickin top cap on top of your chamber before screwing on the tank ;)

And more seriously: I learnt building on a doggy RTA. I found the easiest way was to wrap the leg around the screw, hold it there, and tighten up the screw. I do the same thing with my Dvarw DL RTAs.
HAHA. I was thinking about and making sure I notated it each time I took it apart. I remembered. I also remembered to lube the o-ring, I think it Charlie that said that

The deck on the Dvarw in this video is like yours. I tried to queue the video to where he is installing a fairly large coil on the deck. I don't think your coils are that big. Hope not, but this guy managed the extreme.

Ok, trying to queue the video to where I wanted it was a fail.
    Just skip ahead to 7:44.

@AngeNZ, how do I queue up a video to where I want it??? :)
    Please. Thanks.

You're welcome. The one you have is the older one.

Here is another video and at 5:30 you can see a much closer shot of how this guy did his coil. He has it wrapped around the screw a bit for a better capture versus the last video I posted.

Skip to 10:55 and he installs his coil. He is doing it without a coil rod which is a PITA IMO. If you have a coil rod, screw driver or drill bit it's much easier to hold and manipulate the coil.

What are your favorite AFC Insert Sizes & Why? I prefer 3*.06 2* .08 1* .8 so I can trade larger ones for smallest. Is this allowed in these forums?
I like using all the AF inserts and enjoy changing them up all the time. Variety is the spice of Life. Sometimes I like a tighter vape and other times a much more airy one. Depends.

Just guessing, but I suppose if you found someone who wanted to trade with you it would be fine.

It's still blowing my mind how different juices taste in different attys. This is the main reason I'm amassing an Axial and Dvarw Army.

The Dvarw just works wonders with creams, it enhances them and the top flavour notes are smoother. The Axial gives more of an all round profile, but again, I love creams in it
Dvarw for me is amazing with citrus but it's a style of build deck I dislike the most.:(

yeah I took another look after reading your post and there is no way one could just lay the wire in there. NO room
They will only take a certain thickness of wire. If it is too thick you'll never get it to stay in there when you tighten it down. I use prebuilts but O.5 2.5 I'd very fine wire fused Clapton's mostly and sometimes I just make myself a single wire coil....26 guage :)

You've got one of the first version there and getting the coils in is a bit of a pain in the .... Rob Fisher uses his thumb nail to hold it in there. PC coils make a special alien coil just for Rob. It's called the Fisher coil.

It's all worth it in the end though. The new DL FL's have side clamps which makes building a breeze :)

I do know how to install a coil and have been doing it for years. I use a coil rod for a minute to line things up and then shortly remove. But, I never even thought about NOT having to wrap it. All this helps and thanks SMT and PIGS for answering my cries for help
